From the moment we walked through the door Danny made us feel like old friends and not someone he had just met. Danny is quite the story teller and full of Irish charm and humor. Our stay at the Fisherman's Rest was was a truly memorable and wonderful experience. We can't wait to go back to visit next year!

My wife Dorit&me were for the First time to Ireland. Fortunately Doolin was completely booked out. But Danny had a little lovely double for us. It was really amazing. Danny is "the entertainer". We would love to see him next time. Love from Dorit & Norbert from Berlin, Germany

This B&B is a great stop. Danny greeted me as a long lost friend and treated all his guests the same way- teasing and flirting and making each feel special. The B&B is well done- simple and immaculate . Located steps from Doolin village. I asked about music and dinner for the night and was guided to the best options... More

With the legendary fisherman Danny himself in the pic ;) Wonderful chap and beautiful place. Beware of the pup. It's too adorable. Don't forget to ask Danny about the story behind Dusty the dolphin and his experiences at sea. Also don't forget to see his collection of books and miniature boats. Will definitely visit again. Worth every penny.

The host was very welcoming, friendly and helpful and the most funny person I have met in my 2 weeks in Ireland. Since we were travelling by bus, it was very practical to have a B&B in the village, and at the same time it was in a quiet place. Doolin is a beautiful place to stop, and Danny the... More

The owner could make a living as a stand up comedian. And his B&B was a great location in this very small village as it is just behind the Visitor's Office...close to the few shops and pubs. Clean and efficient place to stay with added Irish humor and great music in the pubs...a few a KM or two but one... More

We stayed at Fisherman's Rest while on honeymoon in Ireland. It was perfect for us. Clean, simple, cute, tasteful. We could see the Cliffs of Moher and the ocean from our room! The trail to the Cliffs of Moher is basically across the street. There are great pubs within easy walking distance of the B&B. Danny is a hoot and... More

Danny was overbooked one night so he offered up his own bed to me! Great location, great host, Danny makes you feel right at home the minute you meet him. He can set you up with anything you need - cab rides, boat rides, even a late night dentist. Ireland is always a great place to visit, but Danny always... More
