Detailed Reviews
Prior to our arrival Susan was in contact with us to give us reassurance about our upcoming stay (because of new COVID 19 regulations). Then on arrival at Dalys our hostess Susan welcomed us at the door and informed us of sanitising stations etc. She was really friendly and welcoming and it felt like home away from home, like meeting a family member. We just felt very safe from that moment on. The bedroom was lovely bed so comfortable we wanted to take it away with us and breakfast was just something else, top class. She had such a varied menu the like of which you would get in a five star hotel. A tip don't miss out on her granola and Susan's favourite omelette and of course her sisters brown walnut bread and tea cakes. It's a breakfast that would set you up for the whole day. As we were going on to Inish Mor in the Aran Islands for a couple of days she gave us lots of advice which proved in valuable, she also kindly recommended that we leave our car parked in her b&b car park for the duration of our stay on Inish Mor and would not accept anything for such a kind courtesy. We are already planning our next visit. Keep it up Susan and say hi to Ted for us.

We first visited Daly House in early July after the first lockdown was lifted and had a wonderful stay. We couldn't do the Cliff walk due to bad weather at the time, so we returned to Doolin again last weekend to attempt again. We didn't research any other properties this time because we knew we only wanted to stay at Susan Daly's place.
Once again, Susan was a charming hostess and made sure we were sorted with directions, places to see, and dinner reservations. The rooms are very clean, tastefully decorated, and inviting. So many delicious breakfast choices each morning too and we also indulged in a lovely Bailey's coffee in the afternoon after arrival to warm us up.
She is following all Covid rules with signage, hand sanitizers, etc and we felt very safe with the process.
It would easily be our first choice in Co Clare on future return visits.

Both my partner and I had an amazing stay at Daly's House B&B. I don't have enough positive words to describe how much we loved her place and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Susan was a spectacular hostess, an absolute gem that made the stay. She knows the area so well and could offer great suggestions for activities and where to eat. My partner forgot his rain jacket and Susan went out of her way to find one for him to use while we were there - such an attentive hostess. Susan is actively following Covid tourism guidelines and we felt very comfortable and safe while we were there. The bedroom was modern, spotless and possible the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The shower was hot with great pressure, I could have spent our 4 days in the shower alone! Our breakfast was delicious every morning and there was so much choice from granola pots, homemade breads and hot foods, something to suit everyone. Her B&B is in an ideal location, only a 4 minute walk from O'Connor's pub in the center of Doolin. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I would recommend this B&B to everyone, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again!

Arrived with 3 girlfriends for a 2 day break last Monday, we were met by the Amazing Susan what a warm wonderful welcome. Beautiful home and 2 gorgeous bedrooms fab art all over the house. Absolutely spotless and clean . Totally observing Covid Sanitizer areas social distancing marked out.
Breakfast gorgeous so fresh healthy and a wide choice to suit every palate.
Great info on the area and restaurants recommended. We did the Liscannor Doolin Cliff walk and we booked the ferry to innissheer through Joan in the Doolin ferry office.
We were enjoying our stay so much we stayed an extra 2 nights.
We are very lucky in Ireland to have Ambassadors like Susan meeting our tourists that visit from abroad what a wonderful impression they must get.
While we were there it was announced that Susan had just won an award for best B&B in Ireland and num 9 in Europe.
We will definitely return very soon it was such a privilege to meet you Susan and stay in your beautiful home.

Daly's House is a wonderful home, very obviously built on love and laughter, which Susan generously shares with her very lucky guests. From the moment you turn into her driveway you cannot help but feel your spirits lift. Her beautiful garden is filled with colour and her plants thrive in the magical Atlantic mist ( Translation: yes it rains in Doolin...but not all the time!)
Inside, Susan's home is filled with light and colour, thanks in no small part to her beautiful collection of artworks. Her wonderful warm welcome was really heartfelt and it's obvious that Susan genuinely enjoys meeting and entertaining her guests. Our bedroom was definitely hotel standard...spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Bottled water, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, tissues were all supplied, as were shampoo, conditioner etc. Unlike a hotel, we were also treated to a very welcome glass of wine once we got settled.
Susan's attention to detail was again evident at breakfast. Our delicious breakfast (special mention here for Terry's fabulous brown bread) was served in a selection of beautiful dishes and cute and quirky cups.
There's nothing ordinary about Daly's House. It's a really unique place to stay in a quiet and peaceful corner of divine Doolin. We'll be back!

I've stayed in B&B's before, but Daly's House is something out of the ordinary. Beautifully situated just off the main street in Doolin we had a wonderful time. The room was spotless and felt very luxiurious, the bed and the pillows were more than comfortable and the bathroom was one I wish I could have taken home with me. The breakfast was out of the ordinary with home baked bread and a selection of dishes, from the full Irish to fresh bagels with smoked salmon. Absolutely wonderful. And to top it of it sports a hostess extraordinare in the lovely Susan, whose friendliness made us feel very comfortable. She was also kind enough to make dinner reservations and gave us a lot of suggestions of things to see and do, both before and during our stay. An extra plus to the cutest little dog ever who lay, not only at, by on our feet. If I ever find myself in this part of the world again, this would be my number one choice to stay at.

From the moment of enquiry Susan's reply had us hooked - a detailed reply with an iternary of possible excursions, almost had our family holiday planned for us. A warm friendly greeting met us on arrival, beautifully presented rooms & garden, great choice of breakfast in the morning; excellent recommendations for day trips etc. Found her very helpful and friendly towards the children. They were delighted to find Netflix on their TV, and made firm friends with the two dogs. From a covid point of view, I found lots of hand sanitiser stations and breakfast was divided up, and each family during our stay had their own alcove for breakfast.
Found there was lots to do family wise in the area and good choice for eating out.
Very good value for money and would highly recommend

We had the pleasure of staying here recently and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the proprietor, Susan, who made us feel right at home. She is the quintessential Irish host, great craic and a wealth of knowledge on the locality. The rooms are on par with upmarket hotels and the property is ideally located - just a short 2min stroll from Fisher Street, and a 5min walk to Doolin Pier. Best of all is the breakfast - the perfect start to the day. The walnut brown bread, in particular, is a thing of beauty!

Myself & my partner had an amazing stay in Doolan in Daly’s House, even if it was for just one night. Susan could not have been more accommodating, she was so helpful even leading up to our trip, with any questions we had about the area and was extremely welcoming upon arrival. The stay was of hotel standard, the rooms were immaculate, comfiest beds ;) and breakfast was lovely. The house is situated in an ideal location, a few minutes walk to local bars & restaurants and a 5 min drive to the Doolan pier. Would highly recommend!

First off, Susan is absolutely amazing! My husband and I were renewing our vows in Ireland and Susan helped even before I ever arrived to make sure that we had everything we needed. She helped me find vendors and everything. And when I ended up having to pack my wedding dress and needed to find somewhere to have it steamed, she got me into contact with people in town to help!
Our stay at the B&B was top notch. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we slept well every night! Susan made us feel so at home. She took care of us and made you feel welcome. Breakfast every morning was AMAZING! The view from our room was also so beautiful. There was plenty of parking and the wifi was strong.
We had a king sized bed in our room with two nightstands, plenty of electrical outlets for all of our electronics. There was also a wardrobe, desk, small table, and two chairs in the room. There was even an adapter plug in one of the desk drawers (I assume that is in every room, but not positive).
The bathroom was beautiful. It was en suite and looked like it had recently been renovated. It had an electric shower, so Ms. Susan even showed us how to use it. My favorite part was the mirror. It had the defroster on it that you could turn on and off as well as extra lighting for you to put on!
I cannot say enough about Ms. Susan and her family. She made our vow renewal in Ireland so amazing and she set the bar so very high for all of the B&B's that come after her! I highly recommend The Dalys House and we will definitely be returning!
