We were skeptical about a hostel, as we were traveling with a family and wanted a quiet place to sleep. But some friends of ours told us about the Doolin hostel, and it was terrific. There are both traditional hostel rooms for solo travelers and also renovated spaces for couples and families past a door that keeps this wing more...

It was a pleasure to read your review as I feel you have described our hostel perfectly. We are not a luxury hotel but offer great value for money, offering clean comfortable accommodation, friendly service and a location that can't be beat. We have three types of accommodation a) dormitory for sharing, b) Standard privates with private bathroom with bunk...

Our stay in Doolin Hostel was wonderful. The breakfast in the morning was a great spread and a surprise as we hadn't realised it was provided. The staff were all really friendly and happy to help. The room was en suite and B&B standards rather than what you might expect from a hostel. The cafe at the front is a...

Great option if you are on a budget. Friendly/helpful staff and nice community feel to the place. Great source of local knowledge. Breakfast was a bit week but appreciated. Kitchen space was more than adequate. Great location. Family room was clean but quite small.

I have been staying in hostels for over 50 years and the Doolin Hostel is the very best I have visited. Clean as a whistle, great breakfast selection, pleasant lounge area, good kitchen facilities and a wonderful little cafe. Can't say enough about it.

Doolin Hostel was by far the nicest hostel we stayed at during our backpacking trip of Ireland. The rooms are not only clean, but bright and cheery. The beds were very comfortable and each had a light and a USB port to charge phones, something not a lot of hostels have. The bunks also had cages underneath to store luggage...

Thank you for all your wonderful feedback and great to hear you felt so comfortable in our dormitory room. Delighted to hear you enjoyed your time in Doolin and sadly you got to experience the most common complaint we receive "I wished we stayed longer" It iis so true, at times its hard to believe that a village so small...

My first time staying in a hostel since I was in secondary school going on school trips! I will be back! I was in a mixed 12 bed dorm, I was a little bit apprehensive at first because it's, as I've already mentioned, a long time since I shared sleeping quarters with people, never mind strangers! Lovely clean, bright roomy...

Thank you so much for your wonderful review, it was a pleasure to read this morning and I will pass on your praise to the team as they are what truly makes our hostel so special and to shine above the rest. They work very hard to make it all happen, especially behind the scenes. It was great to read...

First off I have to say I was only a guest of their Cafe and didn't stay overnight. But I did have a look around and it looks great, clean, modern, bright, good facilities. The location being central in Doolin and positioned up a little higher offers great views. And so if the Cafe / ambience is anything to go...

I recently stayed at the Doolin Hostel with my 3 sons (14, 18, 20) in a private 5 person room. I chose the 5 person because there wasn't a 4 person available for the night we needed (if they have 4 person??). We were all completely pleased with the clean, spacious room, bathroom, comfy common area, cafe and included continental breakfast....

Great to hear you and your family enjoyed your stay with us and got to enjoy Doolin.
