Moloney House is a 25-year-old purpose built bed and breakfast in the heart of Doolin. The home is situated on a 50-acre beef suckler family farm and overlooks the 500-year-old ruins of Doonmacfelim Castle to the rear of the home across the Aille River. There are six en-suite guestrooms and a comprehensive made-to-order breakfast menu is served every morning. The home is a 5-10 minutes walk from pubs, restaurants and shops. It is only a 5 minute walk to the start of the coastal trail that takes you to the Cliffs of Moher (approximately an 90 minute walk). It is a 20 minute walk to the Doolin Pier where you can take a ferry to the Aran Islands. We hope you enjoy your time in Doolin and your stay at Moloney House!

I enjoyed pretty comfortable 2 nights stay in Maloney House. Frank is very friendly and gave us many good suggestions to enjoy Doolin. The breakfast is really awesome and my family loves the French toast. I recommend Moloney House very much!

We stayed in moloney house and found it to be great and most comfortable. Hosts Frank and Mary Ellen were knowledgable and welcoming. The home is in easy reach of the village and restaurants. We’ll certainly make a return visit.

Frank and Mary Ellen are great hosts! My sister and I have been to Ireland twice now. This was one of our favorite places to stay. Breakfasts were fantastic with the homemade jams and bread. I had the best sleep on my whole trip in this B&B. It felt like we were visiting friends when we were there. The weather was cold so it was really nice each evening to curl up in front of a peat fire. Mary Ellen even put on a movie for us to watch about the local history on the Burren. Thanks again Frank and Mary Ellen! I highly recommend this B&B.

This was a fairly typical B&B. It was clean, well-located, had plenty of parking, and the owners are very nice and helpful. We would stay again if we're back to the Cliffs of Moher. It's a nice walk into town (we drove). There aren't many choices for places to eat. But you're there for the scenery...

Spent 2 wonderful nights at Moloney House. We got there late in the evening, but they left keys and a note for us, so checkin was easy. They even left recommendations for dinner. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious both mornings (I had the porridge which was incredible). There was plenty of coffee too! Frank and Ellen are wonderful hosts, very attentive and personable. Frank provided helpful information for touring the Burren, local pubs and attractions, etc. I love the west coast of Ireland, and I'll definitely be back to Moloney House.
