If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. I’ve always wanted to stay in a castle without paying the exorbitant prices. Well staying here is the next best thing. Although you’re not staying in the castle walls, you’re staying the a...More
Cecelia went was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room with the conservatory had a breathtaking view of the ocean, Cliffs of Moher, and the Aran Islands. The full Irish breakfast was superb. The very best scones! I think the dinners we enjoyed are Michelin worthy....More

Thank you for your lovely review.
We hope to welcome you both back to our hotel in the future,
Quaint manor house but not up to par with other manors we have visited in Ireland. Nicely decorated room with a view but the weather obstructed it unfortunately. We had a “superior” room but this was the only place we have stayed at in Ireland...More

There are taxis in town but not many, the pubs in town are great but the restaurant in the hotel is one of the best in the area. Pub in the hotel is VERY quiet and you'll find you're often the only one there, but it's very quaint and the service is good. No live music in the hotel pub.
The actual town has a few really good pubs, and it's the centre of music so you'll find it all good fun. Recommend O'Connor's and McGann's (locals' favourites).
