A pleasant campsite with a nice atmosphere, mostly beautiful views, fine "hardstanding" pitches with grass, clean sanitary facilities, wifi (great coverage) and pleasant people who work there. There is a small cart where up to an hour or 4 small refreshments and drinks can be bought. We cannot say anything about this because we have not taken advantage of it. The campsite is perfect for excursions in the area and within walking distance are several pubs and eateries. The cliffs of Moher are easy to reach by car, but walking (brisk day hike) is also possible. And of course the Burren is also worth it. The Aran Islands can also be reached from Doolin by boat.
Takes into account a lot of wind, inherent on this side of Ireland 😬. Supermarkets can be found in Enistinmon, an ATM in hotel Doolin inside.

Stayed 2 nights but would definitely stay longer. The sound of the river is a bonus to return.
Newbie to the camping world and can’t wait to book and stay in this location again.
The camp site is excellent with two kitchens, every utensil and gadget is there even an ice machine!
Cosy area with sheltered tables and chairs in the smaller kitchen.Showers were spotless hair dryers are provided.
Staff were very friendly and helpful always had a smile or a hello.
The site is on a good location to pubs just at the top of the lane.
There is a local shop a couple of mile away if you needed any grocery’s but the little office on site also has a few small bits.
Bring your walking shoes this is a great area to stay to see the wild Atlantic way.
Bring a coat the weather is very unpredictable too.

Spotless site! We booked in for one night only (campervan) but had a choice of pitch. Electric hook up clear to hand and site is mostly pretty level. Showers and toilet block were spotless with warm and powerful showers. (Tokens 1€ for 5 mins water). Chemical toilet facilities were clean and had water with hose to clean out cassette, bleach spray and basin and hand wash to ensure all clean at end of the day. Would definitely recommend and bonus is location is in ‘centre’ of Doolin 2 mins walk from bars and coffee.

Wonderful stay here in our Campervan- David was very helpful. Sheltered from the wild Atlantic winds and we allowed to dry our completely soaked clothing and shoes in the warm and clean shower block.
Very well located for the many pubs - we preferred McGann’s to McDermott’s but you can’t really go wrong in Doolin 😜

From the beginning we were welcomed in the middle of the rain and wind storm, they were very hospitable, attentive, super friendly to us, they facilitated everything and made our stay quiet within the climatic conditions we were in. The hosts a 10!! Thanks for your welcome.

Absolutely 100% recommend this site. The facilities are spotless and maintained several times during the day. The grounds are well kept and nicely laid out. The staff are friendly, helpful and always available for any help you may need. The location is easily accessible and close by a lot of pubs/restaurants. I would honestly find it hard to fault the stay/ campsite.

Our first time camping. We arrived from Louth in the middle of a yellow weather warning (wind and rain).
We were welcomed in the reception and told where was best to pitch a tent to avoid strong winds.
Campsite facilities were extremely clean and there was free tea & coffee in the campers kitchen (which was a nice touch). The kitchen was also very maintained.
The staff were very friendly and recommended some great places to see and things to do. (Cliffs if Moher, Fr.Teds house, Ailwee Caves).
Even though the weather was not always great, our first time camping was very memorable and enjoyable.
Would definitely recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back.

Just stayed for 3 nights at the end of June 2021. We were in a very large group and they accommodated all of our tents together which was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Place was absolutely spotless and very well maintained. Kitchen had lots of extras including a microwave, toaster, hob and fridge freezer.
Showers were 1 Euro for 5 minutes so definitely two tokens are needed as time goes quick. The site was perfectly located and only a short stroll to bars and restaurants. So much to do in the area. Doolin is amazing. Definitely recommend this campsite!

Quiet site within half an hours walk to the pier for ferries to the interesting Aran Islands. A great pub within 5 mins walk (Fitz's) where you can get get a lovely meal. Would have given 5* but the EHU distribution is a little mad. Central point serving 4-5 vans, but cables trail across the driveway! Like most other Irish campsites we have used they charge for showers.

Absolutely recommended. Staff gave us a warm welcome and helped in the middle of the night through Ellen storm to make us feel confortable. Everything was so cleaned and worked perfect. We had everything we needed at the kitchen and toilets. Water disposables in many spots to charge easily. Very well located for restaurants and take away food options and many tourist options around. It was a very good option with kids as well. Thank you guys!
