If you are planning a visit to Doolin, this B & B is a great choice- Ann and Breda are absolutely lovely and welcoming hosts. What a beautiful family! Ann was so helpful with great information and tips to prioritize our activities during our limited stay. Fantastic location- Very short walk to pubs and shops and close drive or walk to ferry. House is quaint and very clean.

Everything was fantastic! We were warmly greeted by Ann and Breda at their beautiful home in the heart of Doolin. Clean, large and comfortble room; slept great!. Super-close to the path to the Cliffs of Moher-less than 60.mins to a breathtaking view. 5 minute drive to the ferries to the Aran Islands; you won't be disappointed. Breakfast was top-notch. I'd recommend the smoked salmon prepared at the local smokehouse. Pubs and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Couldn't be happier with our stay at The Riverside Cottage.

We really enjoyed staying at Riverside Cottage B and B. Ann was a wonderful host, and the location was terrific. It was really nice to be able to walk to the ferry to get to the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher. It was nice not to have to drive while we were in Doolin. Also, our host introduced us to a great Cliffs of Moher guide, Pat, who gave us a wonderful, small, personal tour. We also all loved the breakfasts. I really enjoyed the Irish soda bread Breda Meehan made, and my daughter said the pancakes were the best she's ever had.

The Riverside Cottage is modest and our room small, but clean and comfy. The owners couldn't be more friendly and accommodating, genuine nice caring people. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Their location is ideal if you want local flavor, close to the boats that leave for the Cliffs of Mohr, a historic pub and a few shops. This is a small family run business and I love to support such places, they surely earned it with their outstanding service. I can strongly recommend if you want to be in this location.

Ann welcomed us from the back garden when we missed the turn and that was just the beginning of incredible hospitality and warmth. She was great about where to find music, where to eat, and what we might do the next day.Breakfast was delicious and included a wave from the kitchen from adorbs Holly and lovely gran, Breda. Comfy bed, quiet location and a lovely stay. Little touches like a few sweets by the kettle were just an extra bit of attention. Can't recommend Riverside more highly!

Ann and Breda are amazing hosts. Their family home is a very inviting and comfortable accommodation. We had a family room with a double and a single bed. The linens and beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The inn is located next to the Aille River within walking distance to both sections of Doolin. The inn is very quiet - no road noise. Spacious and safe car park on the property. Our brekkies were fabulous (highly recommend the salmon or porridge). The Ivy Cottage is located next door and offers great food (make a reservation). The walking path to the Cliffs of Moher starts across the street from the Riverside. Gus O'Connor's pub is a one-minute walk from Riverside and offers great food, beverages, and live trad music. Riverside takes cash so make sure you stop at a bank before getting to Doolin. Ann gave us great recommendations for a day trip to the perfumery at the Burren. The tea shop was fabulous and the lotions and essential oils are all made from the flowers that grow in the Burren (and the prices are very reasonable). Well worth the trip down those slender country lanes.

Everything from first contact to walking out the door to leave was spectacular. Location is the best in Doolin. Room was perfect the breakfast was so hearty we didn’t eat lunch for two days. I can’t wait to bring my wife back to visit. Hopefully it will be available.

What a wonderful Irish welcome you will receive here! Ann and her Mum ( and if you’re lucky a smile or two from Holly!) greeted us with the broadest smiles and the warmest of welcomes. Their B&B is immaculately clean, bright and beautifully homely. Our rooms were spotless with the most amazingly comfortable beds. The bathrooms had everything you needed and a great shower. Ann walked us around the rooms, showed us the breakfast room as well as a cosy sitting room with a stunning dresser (she will tell you a story about it if you ask!). We chatted as if we’d known each other for years! She gave us advice about what to do, where to eat etc and even about our onward journey. Breakfast was just perfect. The table was beautifully laid, food served promptly ( preordered the night before) and tasted delicious- the best pancakes ever, Ann! We reluctantly left to move on to our next destination, but we will cherish our brief but perfect stay at Riverside Cottage, Doolin. Make sure you don’t miss this little gem… thank you Ann

Oh my gosh…Ann and Breda were the most gracious hosts. They made sure we were comfortable everyday. Not only did they give suggestions for local fare, but took the time to provide information about stops and towns to visit on a day trip to Galway. Every morning they asked what we’d like for breakfast. As we are light eaters in the morning, they went out of their way to make scones especially for us. So adorable 🥰
