I stayed here for two nights early July for Our family staycation. They were meticulous in detail... everything was safe. The family room was very spacious and although we couldn’t eat in the hotel, Hotel Doolin is right next door and we found their food delicious and service was excellent and safe... our details were taken there for contact tracing precaution. Breakfast in the hotel was in their breakfast room and was lovely. I highly recommend their homemade granola! Water and juices were all available in glass bottles and everyone at breakfast were at a safe distance from each other. The children had cereal and then sausage, egg and toast.
The location is perfect, with the Aliwee caves 20 minutes drive away and the Doolin Caves and Cliffs of Moher closet. We enjoyed a boat trip around the Cliffs and although it was raining we all enjoyed it and felt extremely safe. The people who live in Doolin and Co. Clare itself are always friendly and welcoming as I’ve found on numerous trips. We definitely felt this welcome at the Fiddle and Bow!
The Fiddle and Bow provide water at reception along with games to play and an “honest bar”, and although we didn’t use these, they are lovely little touches that will take this hotel to rapid success. I will definitely be recommending this hidden gem.

We stayed at Fiddle + Bow for one night and wish we could’ve stayed longer! We had a group of 14 people staying in 8 rooms, and check-in was so organized and went so smoothly. The rooms were large, comfortable, clean, and smelled amazing. Breakfast was incredible too - I especially loved the French toast and the individual jars of fruit. The outdoor bar area was adorable and had wonderful ambiance, and all the staff were so friendly. The small details such as the handwritten note and bread in our room made our stay even more perfect. We stayed in five different hotels during our Ireland vacation, and our entire group agreed that Fiddle + Bow was our favorite!

Lovely boutique hotel with an amazing bar, cozy outdoor seating, and a wonderful staff. Great evening of music and fun, the Fiddle and Bow may have provided the best overall accommodations during our entire trip to Ireland that included high-end hotels in Dublin and Galway. This is definitely the place to stay in Doolin!

I absolutely love this restaurant, the internal decor, the history of each piece inside, The physical lay out and choice of booths or tables with couches. In Doolin, there can be alot of jockeying for tables and service, this establishment is the completely the opposite affording Time & Space.

I recently brought my 73yr old mother here, down from Dublin for the day, she did the Cordon Bleu course in 1971 and the retraining for french chefs course Ferandi Paris 2021. She loved it, all of the above was noted before the food arrived.

In the post pandemic world, no corners are being cut at Fiddle & Bow, they flatly refuse to freeze any fish maintaining that it must be Fresh, I enjoyed the Goan Fish Curry with a cracking Green Salad (how does one make a green salad so exciting?).

We ordered the Scampi, the freshness shines through with lovely Aioli sauce dip. The chips are coming from a local potato grower before they are making lovely dense crispy chips onsite.

We had the Calimari with fresh green salad, once again it's just that instant awareness of the fresh product , the integrity of the squid 🐙 preserved throughout the cooking process.

The seafood chowder is an unexpected twist on how one expects to find Chowder, this Chowder is elegant, light, crisp and clear as opposed to the creamy thick based Chowder. It's a fabulous offering served with in my personal experience the best Guinness bread I have ever experienced, a product worthy of takeaway in its self.

We didn't have desert's, the food was so fresh and tasteful to our senses that we all as a family, my 4 yr old nephew, Older brother and mother just basked in this rare experience. Throughout the entire sitting there is this lovely social butterfly 🦋 owner sometimes skipping and hopping from client to client. I wish him all the best of luck, it's the first restaurant I've been blown away by in many years and post pandemic the first restaurant I've been to where there are no corners being cut or compromised on quality or freshness.

We are planning to come back to stay in your hotel, we all enjoyed our time out of Dublin where we live for 30yrs and have been fortunate enough to enjoy its best known restaurants, hand on heart 💓 Fiddle & Bow is for the total experience as good as any of the best if not better, we really were charmed by all of it.

One point of awareness as we left, it's virtually invisible from the road outside the front to actually identify the establishment as Fiddle & Bow, there seems to be nothing clearly branded from the roadside.

We'll be back!!! And do our best to tell others
But we'd encourage you to Market yourselves clearly out Road Frontage too!!!

The only problem with this hotel is we only booked for 1 night...
Located close to the Doolin Cave and Cliffs of Moher this was a fantastic hotel, the staff is super friendly and attentive, the rooms are clean and quiet, they have an attached restaurant for Lunch and Dinner, Breakfast was included with our room and it was very good. Doolin is very small but being close to the Cliffs there are a few places to stay and eat. We arrived a little late in the day so we only had time to eat at one of the places in town so we started off with dinner, Wife had the Sea Bass (on the bone) and I hade the Bacon (pork) chop, bother were very good and filling. Pork was tender and juicy, Sea Bass was cooked perfectly. Breakfast the next morning was more than expected, a full self serve section and cooked to order items as well

Super friendly staff
Breakfast included
Super clean and comfortable rooms

Put them at the top of you list when you are in Doolin

We had planned a one night stay at the Fiddle & Bow which turned into a more extended stay when our daughter tested positive for COVID. The staff could not have been more supportive. We moved into a 3 BR lodge from a family room so that we could isolate, they provided us with boxes of tests, and texted periodically to check in. One staff member offered to pick up groceries for us in another town on her day off! The house had some quirks (a boiler we had to re-set), but we were so grateful for the space, the wonderful people at the Fiddle & Bow, and the beautiful scenic walks that surrounded us. The food at the hotel was the best we had during our stay.

We stayed here for two nights @the St.Patrick's weekend, I have to say that everything was just spot on .Upon entering the room you get a waft of lovely voya products, which was very appealing. The breakfast was high quality from the georgeous freshly squeezed juices in cute little milk bottles ,to home made granola, little pots of fresh fruit, yoghurt etc, brown bread , the full fry (which was top quality non greasy)to the georgeous french toast. It was a delight &a real treat .We also had an evening meal there although the menu was not extensive ,what you got was good quality. We really enjoyed our stay at the fiddle &bow in Doolin ,thanks to all the staff who were so friendly &accommodating.

We had just the perfect stay at the Fiddle and Bow Hotel in Doolin. I beautiful 'boutique' hotel where there attention to detail is impeccable. From the gorgeous smell of the Vayu products when you walk into the foyer for the first time the rooms are spotless, well appointed and the beds are as comfortable as anything we've ever slept on. It benefits from only having 15 rooms, tell tale signs of uber relaxing breakfast means you have get great attention to perfectly accompany a menu with something for everybody. Dinner was 5***** and the service particularly Vladimir could not have been better. We would highly recommend the Fiddle and Bow Hotel for anybody looking for a base in the west of Ireland.

We stayed in Fiddle and Bow for 4 nights in July. This hotel comes highly recommended for anyone visiting Co Clare. From the moment we checked in to we left we loved our experience at the hotel. It is a 12 bedroom boutique hotel and caters extremely well for families. They have a super outdoor carnival vibes setting for anyone wanting to eat outdoors whilst also providing exclusive indoor facilities for residents only. The staff at this hotel are some of the best staff we have met, particular shoutout to Eimear who was part of the waiting staff team, she was a real asset to the hotel this summer. We will be back. Thanks team Fiddle and Bow for a wonderful staycation.
