Our first stay in Sheedy's was a last minute booking in the week they first opened in 2019. We just needed somewhere (anywhere !) to stay, and we fluked getting the most wonderful place imaginable. As a result we've returned twice already and want to keep going back. Marian is the most convivial host you could imagine, warm, friendly and fun without a hint of being overbearing. You don't see too much of her husband Frank, as he's busy conjuring up wonderful breakfast dishes. Such a beautiful and plentiful selection of healthy and/or decadent treats and juices etc await you at the buffet table, and the cooked menu options are wonderful (look out for the daily special). You'd be hard pressed to find a better breakfast anywhere. We've stayed a further 2 times since then, and have had a different room each time. All of those rooms were lovely: spacious and beautifully modern with a nod to the past, with a quality you'd expect in a boutique hotel. Each had a surprisingly large bathroom which was a great bonus. Doolin as a destination has improved dramatically since my first visit 25 years ago, there is a more plentiful amount of good evening dining options. And of course there's the stunning local landscape. With Sheedy's as the cornerstone of your visit, you will also want to return. In fact, like ourselves, you may never want to leave !

The attention to detail in Sheedy's, the cleanliness and all of the little touches have completely changed my outdated view of the 'Irish B&B'. We enjoyed a beautiful room with stunning views and the quality of linen, towels and amenities made the stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was an absolute treat with a gorgeous selection of outstanding Irish produce cooked to perfection. Marian was extremely helpful and hospitable, assisting with bookings and recommendations and just stopping for the chats, which added to the overall experience. This is a superior B&B and one where you would enjoy a short break or a whole holiday in the lovely town of Doolin. I cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to a return visit very soon.

It is hard to overstate how fantastic Sheedy's is. It is more like hotel accommodation and is of 5 star + standards. Beautifully stylish and contemporary accommodation. Gorgeous bathroom, spacious and bright. The bedding is so luxuriously comfortable and pristine. The attention to detail is subtle and exquisite. The breakfast is the best I have seen and tasted. It was sublime. Truly better than any hotel, and I have travelled a lot. The food really is exceptional here and it's no surprise Sheedy's has received notable food awards for it's breakfast. Marian is fantastic, so welcoming and accommodating. Assisting with restaurant reservations, tour bookings and of course, local knowledge. She is a pure joy to chat with. Last but not least "Bertie" the four legged host was the best, cutest dog ever. I absolutely loved my stay there and can't wait to return. Congratulations Marian and Frank on an absolutely beautiful B & B. It's a hard one to top. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Judy.

Where do I start how amazing my stay was at sheedy's boutique b and b.. The attention to detail is phenomenal.. Marian is the best host with we absolutely loved her.. The house is pristine from top to bottom.. The selection of food and standard of the breakfast is 5 star. I see why they've won so many awards for it..If you love dogs like I do Bertie will brighten up your day every time you see him. The rooms, mattress and pillows are like sinking inti little fluffy clouds. The bathroom is such high quality. Torches left at the front door table.. Beautiful garden to sit out for your coffee. I would 110% recommend anyone to stay in sheedy's and will certainly return.. Thank you Marian for such a wonderful stay. You should be super proud

Myself and my husband stayed in this wonderful B+B for 3 nights, which to be honest is more like a 5* hotel. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by Marian and felt at home straight away. She was so friendly and enthusiastic about our plans and was just born to work in the hospitality sector. We stayed in the Eagles Nest room and it was just perfection. Fabulous sunset views, beautifully decorated with gorgeous white company toiletries as a luxurious perk :-) The whole place is immaculate and fully equipped with all that is needed for a safe stay during Covid 19. Marian was super helpful and made us dinner reservations for our 3 nights, which was a great help. Now on to Frank-what a man to cook up breakfast! Only one like no other-wow wow wow! :-) Absolutely divine! The daily specials are a must! I would literally go back just for the beautiful breakfasts and sumptuous buffet. Frank is also super friendly and welcoming. They both just make you feel like part of the family and nothing is a bother. Oh and we can't forget the beautiful Bertie our 4 legged friend :-) such a gorgeous dog! The b and b is within walking distance to resturants and pubs which is so handy and a short drive to the Cliffs of Moher and other tourist attractions. It is a very good base to explore from. We really didn't want to leave this charming place and amazing hospitality :-) Sheedy's in Doolin will be our one and only place to stay when we visit Clare again. Thanks so much Marian and Frank, such a credit to you both! :-) K and P
