Detailed Reviews
These fabulous cottages really are a home away from home. From that onset the host TJ was so helpful and informative about the surrounding area and gave great advice re things to do in the area and great recommendations on places to eat. We stayed in the smallest 2 bedded cottage in August 2020….should’ve written a review then! It was the start of Covid 19 but we felt that we were very safe staying here as they were absolutely spotless and well sanitised. The cottage itself was so quaint and beds extremely comfortable. It is well stocked with pots/pans etc. The setting is so quiet and peaceful that we slept like logs. They are within walking distance of Doolin village itself…TJ will inform you of getting there by foot on a less busy road. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re touring the area. Plenty to see and do too.

Myself and 4 friends stayed in one of the bungalow houses. The beds were very comfortable, the bedroom had plenty of room for all of us and all our suitcases. The showers were absolutely fabulous. The kitchen is a great size, room for food and to do all the cooking you want. The sitting room is so cozy in the evenings, putting on a fire just made it! There is a bench at the back which is lovely to sit at in the mornings and there are great views of the sunset in the evenings. Great view of the atlantic ocean out your window. TJ was so helpful all through our visit, he helped us with where to eat and directions to wherever we wanted to go. Such a peaceful part of Doolin but still no length from the town of Doolin. Perfect for anyone wanting to get away for a while.

We have just returned from a 5 day stay in the Atlantic View Cottages. I can’t recommend them highly enough. TJ & his family were so helpful from the moment I made the booking. The cleanliness & sanitizing facilities in the cottage were amazing. They offer every facility you could possibly need from a coffee machine to a microwave and all your white goods. The showers were fabulous. We loved our stay and we would definitely go back & highly recommend if you are looking to stay in the Doolin area.

We had booked a three bed house several months ago and paid in full in March. On arrival we were told the boiler was broken in the house so we were moved to a two bed property 6 km away. Later that evening we drove to the original house to find it was rented out to another group, Melissa who was the property manager then told us that the property owner wanted that house and that's why we were moved. She also said she tried to contact me the previous week which she did and I returned her call on three occasions, none of which were answered. She then offered a voucher for dinner which I politely refused. I spent four hours on the phone Friday afternoon between booking.com and Melissa. I definitely would NOT recommend booking these cottages. I was told lie after lie. We ended up spending extra money on taxis and I spent two nights on a very uncomfortable sofa bed. Appalling customer care.

We stayed in Atlantic view five for two nights, two adults and a two year old.
This house is two storey, has two bathrooms and a double bedroom downstairs and a small single bedroom and kitchen/living area upstairs. This wasn’t ideal with a two year old but that’s my fault for not looking properly before booking and we made it work anyways.
The cottage was lovely and clean, had a washing machine, maiden, dryer, oven, microwave, travel cot and high chair.
The living area was lovely and spacious and had a gorgeous view.
It was so close to Doolin, around a 15 minute walk, which was ideal. I would definitely stay here again if in the area

We spent a week in Atlantic View and we were not disappointed. The cottage was absolutely spotless and really well furnished . Beautiful decor, spacious bedrooms and an open fire in the living room. Gorgeous views of the Atlantic from the back garden.
Beautiful Doolin was well equipped for visitors during the pandemic. Restaurants felt safe and plenty of social distancing was happening. Lots to see and do in Doolin and the surrounding area.
We had a great week and can't wait to return.

Stayed in one of the cottages and we would highly recommend. Had everything we needed, very comfortable and spotless. TJ the owner is extremely nice and helpful. Very close to village and attractions. Two boys loved it also with lawn area to play and swings.

Second time I stayed here after a week last November. Highly recommended. Looking forward to going back.
Perfect for a solo or couple stay for walking, running and writing. Had sore legs after the 27km cliffs of Moher hike :)

Atlantic View Cottages are an ideal location to see the West of Ireland. The cottage is quaintly updated to reflect the ambience of an old Irish cottage, down to the walls and floor and even a fire place. TJ and Cora are the ideal hosts and are very accommodating with history of the cottages fixtures and tips on what and where to go. Would stay again. Very comfortable and convenient. Very clean and tidy. There is free WiFi and television and washer and dryers etc.

A great place in a great location. Special place to travel around and see much of Ireland, and Doolin is a super place and the Atlantic View Cottage's are the only place to stay. Very Clean, family friendly, and within walking distance to the town of Doolin. Just a 5 minute drive to the Cliffs of Moher to see the cliffs from the top or a 5 minute drive to the Doolin Ferry to see the cliffs from the Ocean or go to the Aran Islands. All the Pubs in town have traditional Irish Music and great food. The west is the best of Ireland. So mush to do and see in County Clare and using the cottages as a base makes it so much easier when your coming to a HOME. We will be back and this is where we will stay and the owners are special an treat everyone like family.
