Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed in Doolin Cottage for four nights, and had a great time there. It's traditional, warm, cosy and clean. The room was en-suite, with TV. The hostess,Carol, is very friendly and accommodating. I am a vegetarian and for breakfast, she served me the best bowl of fruit, yogurt and honey I've ever had! You can't beat the location: although it's in a quiet area (which I like for a good night sleep), you're literally two steps away from the pubs and shops, so no need to drive. The bus stops nearby, so it's very handy when you've no car and a suitcase or a rucksack to carry. It's also a nice stroll away from the sea and all the beautiful scenery surrounding the village. I was lucky to get a real sunny and hot weather everyday: so yes, it does happen in Ireland too! I do hope

Myself and my husband stayed in Doolin Cottage recently. Carol, our hostess, was so friendly and helpful to us in every way. She made us feel totally at home and relaxed and gave us loads of information on places to see. Doolin Cottage is located within walking distance of all of the pubs. It was great! Although there was only two of us, Carol gave us one of her family rooms. It had a very spacious en suite bathroom - (some of the B & Bs we've stayed in have very small en suites) so this was a great bonus also. We would highly recommend Doolin Cottage, and we would stay here again if we went back to Doolin.
