We stayed at Doolin Cottage for one night and we were sorry we didn't plan for more time in The Burrin. This area of Ireland is a must see for explorers and lovers of rock and ocean. Doolin Cottage is situated perfectly, the rooms were spacious, the greeting warm and friendly, and we felt lucky to have stumbled on such a gem! Cannot wait to return..stop by OConnors pub for a pint, great food, and authentic Irish music.

It's not surprising to read the other reviews and see that others have enjoyed Doolin Cottage as much as we did. It's all true. Carol is a wonderful lady and we also felt like we said goodbye to a friend when we left. Every other place we stayed after we left there never held a candle to Carol's hospitality, warmth and her fabulous breakfast! Her recommendations about attractions, shopping, how to save money, etc. were spot on. She has other family members at local pubs and shops who were also just as delightful. Look for the other Carol, Carol's niece, the bartender at McDermott's pub. What a hoot!

the location, staff, breakfast and accommodations are perfect to enjoy the beautiful village of Doolin- we would stay here again in a heartbeat. We were in walking distance to great pubs and restaurants and the small town feel was refreshing after a few days in Dublin- will be back!

My husband and I stayed 3 days in Doolin Cottage. Our lovely Irish host Carol was friendly and helpful from the very first contact before we left for our holiday right up to the end of our stay. We felt like we were leaving our friend when it was time to say goodbye. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, our room was spotless and very comfy. Our breakfasts were very generous, fresh and delicious. The location is perfect for walking to the local pubs and attractions. If we return to Ireland...we will stay in Doolin Cottage. Thank you Carol for a wonderful stay.

Our double room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and Carol was a delight to chat with. We chose this B and B because of the location. We were able to walk down to catch the Ferry to see the Cliffs, which I recommend because parking near the Pier is difficult at times. Also, we left some items behind and Carol very kindly mailed them to us. Thanks again!

We stayed 2 nights at Doolin Cottage. It is very conveniently located just of the main road in Doolin. Carol, the owner, was very pleasant and helpful; however we had a miscommunication about our arrival time, and she was not at the cottage when we arrived. We were jet-lagged and exhausted, and several in our party just couldn't keep their eyes open and finally fell asleep in the car till she arrived over an hour later. Rooms were clean and comfortable. However, this was a warm day and like most places in Ireland, is not air-conditioned. Our upstairs bedrooms were extremely hot and even with the windows open, not well-ventilated. We had difficulty sleeping, and finally had to open the bedroom door to get some fresh air. I would suggest that Carol purchase a couple of

Looking for a nice and comfortable B&B in Doolin? Consider Doolin Cottage. Although the number of B&B’s in and around Doolin is abundant, we first stopped at this place, knowing that there were lots of other possibilities. At first you might not expect what you get, but after we were welcomed by Carol (the lady who runs this place) who showed us one of the rooms, we did not hesitate to take it. A nice, spacious and clean room on the ground floor with a good bed and a splendid bathroom. The walking distance to Doolin Pier is less than ten minutes. Breakfast in the morning makes a happy start of your day. If you’re by car, there’s enough space on the yard in front. For us Doolin Cottage was value for money and next time we’re here we shall definitely return to this place.
