We had an wonderful stay at the Doolin Inn. The owner has been in the hotel / restaurant business for a while according to a video we watched on their website. It shows. They know what they are doing. The service is top notch. The food was excellent and it's in a great location...a short walk to a traditional Irish pub just down the road.

Just back from a lovely 2 night stay at the Doolin Inn. Cosy, clean, spacious room. Bed was very comfortable! We ate at Anthony's at the Inn and the food was delicious, especially the mussels. Breakfast was also lovely. Within walking distance of pubs, shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend!

The hotel was wonderful. Staff were amazing and kind and helpful. The room was very nice; beds were comfortable and the towel warmer was a plus. Don’t sleep on the hotel restaurant. It’s so good! Delicious food. Best hummus I’ve ever had. Highly recommend timing dinner with the live music, such an enjoyable experience.

Quaint inn set in a gorgeous Irish landscape. Perfect getaway for a few nights, and wonderful hosts for our small family wedding. Rooms are simple and cozy. Breakfast hit the spot. Short drive away from Cliffs of Moher. Would love to visit again.

The Doolin Inn provided a very comfortable stay, convenient to exploring the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. We had room 20 and I believe 23 on the first floor. Room 20 was nicely appointed with entry hooks for coats, a wardrobe for hanging clothes and a couple chairs and table for sitting. The bed was so very comfortable. The bathroom is a large walk-in accessible shower with a second accessible sink for wheelchair guests. The toilet has a flip down bar alongside it and an emergency pull cord. The other room was nice but had a small bathroom which was somewhat tight to enter. As in other properties in Ireland, at first we were confused by the light switches. We discovered the light above the mirror had both a switch and a pull string to operate it. However we never figured out how the towel warmer rack turned on. We noted the door must be pulled snugly to be sure it locked upon exiting. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They allowed me to use their phone to call the local Caherconnell sheepdog business (highly recommend) when I had difficulty booking tickets. Also the front desk staff arranged for a wonderful table for dinner and to experience the Irish duo playing music. The location walking distance to local pubs and sweater shops. Parking is provided, but can become crowded. Of the several places we stayed exploring Ireland, the Doolin inn was the favorite for 2 out of 4 in our party.

Everything about our stay was great - the location, the food, the rooms, and especially the staff. However, one additional acknowledgment is in order. On the morning of our departure, my leg brace broke. Given that I have some significant mobility challenges this would have created serious obstacles for the the remainder of our trip. I will always be grateful for the additional time and attention Niamh and Anthony gave me in helping come up with a repair solution. I'm happy that it did the trick and helped keep my leg brace intact for the rest of the trip! I am thoroughly pleased and will enthusiastically recommend the Doolin Inn to future travelers.

We traveled through Ireland in 9 days and had 5 very different lodging experiences and the Doolin Inn was by far the nicest and most memorable. We arrived mid-afternoon on a sunny, warm August day after hiking the Cliffs of Moher and spent a few hours on the inn's restaurant, Anthony's, terrace overlooking the small colorful village of Doolin, the Atlantic in the distance, and a very green yard with grazing horses. We stayed out there for a while enjoying drinks and the ocean air and when we looked a little chilly, the staff invited us to take blankets from their lobby. This is just one of the many ways this inn lets you know they care about you having the best experience possible. It's Irish hospitality at its best! We continued our bar tab into the restaurant for a delicious meal including their famous sea bake and the best fish & chips we had all week. (They do something amazing with those chips!) This was the first time on our trip where we were fortunate to hear live, traditional Irish music and it was wonderful. We continued our evening with a short walk to O'Connor's Pub for more music, more drinks and lots of craic! Our room at Doolin Inn was lovely. It was a perfect balance of traditional style with a contemporary touch. The fan and the slightly opened window kept it comfortable for August. We also liked having an iron and ironing board as well as other amenities. Breakfast was not only delicious the next morning, but also beautiful. My advice is to give yourself enough time to enjoy the meal that is made fresh to order (best eggs Benedict and best full Irish breakfast) and comes with a tray tower of scones, pastries, mini smoothies, yogurt parfaits, fruit and more. While we absolutely loved touring the nearby attractions including The Burren and The Cliffs of Moher, we would come back to the area just to stay at the Doolin Inn again. It was that amazing!
