We stayed at the Doolin Inn in for two nights. The Inn is very easy to find and is centrally located in Doolin. The rooms were nice and clean. The clerks were very nice and gave us helpful hints what to see in the area and good restaurants to eat at. We would highly recommend this place to stay if you are looking for a good place to stay while visiting the Cliffs of Moher.
We spent four very relaxing days staying at the Doolin Inn. The staff were very helpful; the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, and the location is in the center of a lot of different activities.
Such a perfect spot for us to start our adventures around Ireland! The location and staff of the Inn and Anthony’s Restaurant are outstanding! Thanks to everyone working there! We walked part of the Cliff Walk, took the ferry to the Aran Islands, and enjoyed the Irish Football Championship in a local pub! Brilliant!
We popped in here for brunch, and really enjoyed the food - a beautiful Irish fry and pancakes. The coffee was lovely too, and we were delighted to see how well the expansion of the Doolin Inn has gone. I am really reviewing though to thank the friendly waitress (a tall dark-haired woman) who met us at the door - we were drenched after running through a squall and she rushed to get us blankets to dry ourselves off! This was so thoughtful.
We stayed for 2 nights at Doolin Inn. After a long drive we arrived at 4.30pm and were told that the restaurant had a private function until 7pm. Doolin is quite spread out and doesnt have many places serving food if you are in the pier end, we drove to the other end to get food(in another hotel that also had a function on but accommodated us). Room was nicely laid out, bed was or felt like a queen size and the shower had very little power in it. Walls felt like paper, could hear everything next door. Breakfast was excellent and Staff were friendly and helpful in the morning. We tried to book lunch the next day but told there was another function and tried to book lunch on our last day for the craic but told there was another private party! We felt like the great unwashed! It would have been better if told at check in or by email in advance that all these parties were booked in so to plan out a weekend. There should be an area to cater for hotel guests or even offer room menu. All in all it was an average stay but for the breakfast service.…
We popped in here for breakfast on a recommendation from friends. The inn is right in the middle of Doolin opposite the road to the pier. There was a very good choice of breakfast items and we all had something different. The poached eggs and Avocado was yummy. The staff were all really friendly and the owner stopped by to make sure everything was ok.
We spent five nights at the Doolin Inn. We could not have been more delighted. The staff was wonderful and the food exceptionally good. The desk staff took care of our every need and treated us like family. Outstanding.
Last weekend 6 friends shared 3 rooms at the Doolin Inn. Hotel is clean, bright and comfortable. Hotel carpark is safe, private and convenient to hotel. Our rooms had a view , comfortable beds/pillows, large tv and a table and chairs for our convenience. We had booked dinner in the hotel for one night only, as we didn't know what standard their food was. After eating a four course meal we decided to book dinner there again for the following night. All six of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. The menu was excellent and ranged from fillet steak €33, to Monkfish €27 and chicken at €19. There were many other dishes of course but they had a good variety on offer. Starters and deserts were lovely too. Our waiter on the first night was the charming, chatty and delightful Eddie. Eddie is a character who is a huge asset to the hotel. On the second evening, waitress service was provided by Sarah (?) from Hungary. She too was a charming, efficient and helpful. Breakfast on both mornings was delicious and a wonderful variety. Lovely scones, homemade muesli, fresh smoothies, eggs benedict, pancakes, full Irish fry..etc. Fabulous food. Of course we all ate too much! Boris is the dining room manager. Boris is a serious individual but if one asks him something his face breaks into a big smile and he will go out of his way to be helpful and obliging. All of the staff in the Doolin Inn, from reception down to room cleaning service were all exceptionally sunny friendly people. They were all very nice and one could see that it was genuine and not a phoney exercise for the tourists! We will return and I have no hesitation at recommending this hotel. Thank You Doolin Inn!…
Perfect one night stay. Thanks for the clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast. Car parking is next to the house and really safe. The Doolin Inn is close to the Pubs and main street. You can walk all the ways even to the Cliffs of Moher. You can go by bus too. The bus station is 200m from Hotel. We would stay there again!
Stayed three nights and enjoyed them all. The location can’t be beat and their off street parking was always available. The inclusive breakfast was very good…lots of options and well prepared. The room was clean and functional yet rather basic which was fine with us. Now the stairs are a bit cumbersome with luggage so one might request a ground floor room. Would like to return someday.
