For visiting Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher area this is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are modern, spotless with comfortable beds and a spacious and powerful shower. The accommodation is in a separate building adjacent to the house and is on one level only. Hosts were friendly and welcoming and breakfast was delicious. Excellent value and one of the best guest houses we have stayed in. We were definitely impressed with O’Leary’s Lodge and would highly recommend
There is not a better option for a stay in the Doolin area than O'Leary's Lodge. Everything about our stay was perfect. We were greeted graciously by Aoife even though we were early. Our room was spacious and wonderfully appointed with beautiful views of the Cliffs of Moher. There was a wide variety offered for breakfast and each choice was delicious. The location of the lodge is great for easy access to all of the sights and activities in County Clare. Aoife made our stay so special with detailed help in planning each of the 3 days we spent there. We have been to many, many guesthouses, B&B's, lodges, and AirBnB's around the world, and I can easily say that our stay at O'Leary's is among the very best. Thank you, Aoife & family
We booked last minute when we decided to add a visit to the Cliffs of Moher to our trip to Ireland. The O’Learys were warm, welcoming and hosted us in a beautiful room in a stunning location. We’d love to come back for a longer stay and would highly recommend their B&B. Thank you!
Just back from a 2 night stay at O’Learys lodge. We stayed in the family room, the room was spacious spotless clean and very comfortable. Having a private entrance was a bonus. Situated in a nice peaceful area with lovely views. We had breakfast both mornings. The menu had a variety of options and the food was absolutely delicious! Aoife was a fantastic host! She provided us with numerous options of where to eat and what to do as our trip to the Aran islands had been cancelled, as well as offering us a lift to the village for our dinner. Aoife had told us about bunratty castle and that we would really enjoy it. We went and it was probably the highlight of our trip! The kids loved it. The service we received was 10/10 without the help of Aoife I don’t think we would have had as good a trip. We felt very welcome and comfortable, almost like home away from home. We will definitely return and look forward to staying here again!…
Fabulous stay. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and good for local knowledge. Room spotlessly clean and comfortable and in a self contained section separate to the house. Very quiet. Breakfast was lovely the next morning also. Very close to centre of doolin. Would stay again 100%
Myself and my friend visited here, as we were getting the ferry to the Aran islands the next day !! Our host was so friendly and gave us some lovely cold water on arrival, and gave us great tips about the area ! Our room was nice and spacious with a great view to watch the thunderstorms over the cliffs !! Our room was absolutely spotless and the bedsheets smelt amazing ! The bathroom was great and the shower was so powerful !! We loved our yummy breakfast pancakes too !! I really loved Coco the dog and hope she is well ! I would love to come back again and would recommend to everyone !
Myself and my son stayed in O'Learys Lodge for 3 nights this week. It was fantastic, spotless spacious room and the hostess Aoife was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. Very tasty breakfasts. Great base for adventures around Doolin.
Just returned home this afternoon (12/7/21) after 3 night stay in this beautiful family run B&B. 5 star all the way * Breakfast gorgeous * Affordable accommodation/ great value * So Clean & organised * Pressure in the shower was so powerful * 2 mins outside Doolin. * Beds so comfortable & fresh * Sound proof rooms We will be returning , thank you Aoife & Greg *****
We stayed at O'Learys for 7 nights in August 2020. I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. Aofie was such a wonderful hostess and nothing was too much trouble. Her breakfasts were amazing and she even catered for my coeliac daughter without any fuss. The room was clean, the shower was really great and strong (a nice bonus!). The view was amazing - clear view of the Cliffs of Moher. We used O'Learys as our base for the week and did so many things in and around Doolin. I would imagine it would be hard to be Aoife & O'Learys lodge if you are looking for a B&B in Doolin.
Stayed for 5 nights and the kids were asking for more. Aoife was an excellent host and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and help you with any activities or tours you would like to do. The accommodation was spotless and the breakfast and attention to detail was something you would need to experience yourself. Would highly recommend for all but for our young family of five it was a perfect base to see what the region has to offer, which is a lot. Hopefully be back one day soon.
