We stayed at O'Learys for 7 nights in August 2020. I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. Aofie was such a wonderful hostess and nothing was too much trouble. Her breakfasts were amazing and she even catered for my coeliac daughter without any fuss. The room was clean, the shower was really great and strong (a nice bonus!). The view was amazing - clear view of the Cliffs of Moher. We used O'Learys as our base for the week and did so many things in and around Doolin. I would imagine it would be hard to be Aoife & O'Learys lodge if you are looking for a B&B in Doolin.
Stayed for 5 nights and the kids were asking for more. Aoife was an excellent host and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and help you with any activities or tours you would like to do. The accommodation was spotless and the breakfast and attention to detail was something you would need to experience yourself. Would highly recommend for all but for our young family of five it was a perfect base to see what the region has to offer, which is a lot. Hopefully be back one day soon.
The very warmest Irish welcome on arrival, Aoife was very friendly and incredibly helpful. The breakfast was very well displayed and very tasty. We were very impressed with our room and thr facilities. I am glad we cancelled our first booking and found O'Learys instead 👏
While the lodge was great, I would probably not recommend Doolin for more than one night. The host was extraordinarily helpful and the room was lovely, there just isn't that much to do--we did the Cliffs of Mohr and a day trip to the Aran Islands (we were suppose to spend a couple of nights but the weather thwarted us at the time of our reservations). If you are looking for just some peace and quiet, it would be a lovely place.
We stayed here in September 2019. My husband and I were on a road trip with my 3 brothers and his one brother. This was the perfect accommodation for us. There were three rooms. 2 with 2 doubles and 1 with 3 doubles. My brothers were in one room, my husband and I in another, and his brother in the third. We each had our own bathroom with a nice shower. There was coffee and water supplied in each room. We could take our breakfasts in the main building any time between 8-930. The breakfast was delicious. The homemade banana bread was excellent! Aoife was super helpful and communicative before our arrival and while we were there. Parking was easy. We drove to the pub and then took some beers back to the room. We were there one night between Killarney and Galway to see the cliffs of mother. The cliffs were visible from the rooms and a castle was visible from one of the rooms. It would be a nice place for a country rest. Would highly recommend. WiFi was strong as well. …
