We stayed at Secret d'Aude for 4 nights. The mansion is full of charm with very nice interior decor. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and very spacious. We particularly like the Jardin d'Hiver, which was where we had breakfast. This is a double height garden room bathed in natural light. Breakfast was generous with croissants, pain au chocolat, fresh fruits,...

Stayed in one of the beautiful attic rooms. Very spacious, tasteful and comfortable. Pretty village and good location for exploring the surrounding area by car, including Carcassonne. Sylvie was a lovely and helpful host, cannot fault her! Provided lots of information about the area and made my father and I feel welcome. Would highly recommend this gorgeous B&B.

Our party occupied four rooms of the hotel before our boat trip along the Canal du Midi. All the rooms are beautifully furnished, clean and very comfortable. Owner Sylvie was extremely pleasant and helpful, assisting with dinner reservations, directions and local information. This made our stay particulary special. The Secrets d'Aude is a wonderful place to stay, situated in a...

Easy to access from Carcassonne. Sylvie & Christophe warm & friendly and spoke good English. The lovely large double room I had to myself was most enjoyable to spread myself around. Relaxing breakfasts each morning with good coffee and to meet other guests. I live in New Zealand, but was travelling with UK friends. Nearby church bells served as a...

We stayed one night at Secrets d'Aude on a driving trip across France at the beginning of September. The house is located opposite a picturesque church which dates back to the time of Charlemagne. It's about 30 minutes from Carcassonne, in a tiny village, with places to eat a short drive away. There is free parking available directly opposite the...

The place is old and furnished with loving care in a deliciously shabby chic style: we truly appreciated the athmosphere. The owner Sylvie goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and more than at home (delicious homemade jams, croissants and pain au chocolat coming straight from the boulangerie, advice and reservations for dinner in nearby restaurants...). Breakfast...

Our welcome at this beautiful B&B was fantastic. The hosts Christophe and Sylvie were very attentive and the meal they prepared for us was excellent. Our room was both large and well furnished and all in all I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.
