Actually better than home because you get a fabulous locally sourced full English breakfast and you don't have to do the washing up. Willow Cottage is a proper farm B&B with horses grazing next door and hens laying your breakfast eggs at the end of the drive. Busy cottagey bedrooms have all the amenities you could want and Anne is... More

We stayed for 2 nights at Willow Cottage and it was a really comfortable 2 nights. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and well equipped. Everything was comfortable and beautifully warm. The house is steeped in history and located well, just off the A59 but surrounded by fields, woodland and nature. Breakfast was great with a fantastic amount of... More

Stayed here for one night to celebrate mum's birthday and it was perfect. Lovely country location, very friendly (but not overpowering) hostess made us feel very welcome. She had had a cancellation so although we had booked a family room she made two rooms available at no extra cost. Very well appointed rooms with lots of character. Comfy bed, feather... More

This is a premier B&B and Ann, the Owner, is absolutely wonderful! The moment we stepped in the door we felt like we were at home. Oh ...and I cannot say enough about the delicious breakfast, the full English breakfast was so tasty that my husband ate it every day and we were there for a week! Ann even prepared... More

It is my first time for a b & b experience and it was an amazing 4 nights stay. The location is very close to nature with lovely views. The breakfast is great with homemade jams, yoghurt in a full English breakfast. The hostess is very hospitable.

A lovely setting for the bed and breakfast. The room was lovely, large double, crisp clean bedding. With a nice two seater sofa and tea and coffee to help you chill out. Our room had a separate bathroom with a free standing bath, separate shower cubicle and plenty of clean towels. The other two rooms from which we could had... More

A family funeral brought the family to Longton. It was a quiet location and a very comfortable B & B. An excellent breakfast helped the family to face the day. The hostess provided useful information on where to eat and was very accommodating. Thank You.

I stayed here recently (May 2016) and the owner made me feel very welcome. My room was exceptional with a wonderful cosy bed. Breakfast was sooooo good and her homemade blackcurrant jam was delicious. So peaceful and quiet. Thank you for a lovely stay. See you again soon.

I spent five days in Ann's lovely cottage in April 2016. As well as being in a charming location, the cottage itself was full of character, and ever so homely. Whilst it had a very relaxed feel and I was given the privacy to come and go as I pleased, Ann was never far away if I needed anything, and... More
