As the title suggests, this is a good Resort but I think it needs some attention to detail to make it better. The golf course is good and interesting as well as challenging. The fairways however are not good with weeds covering large areas. Admittedly, the weeds have been cut but it still makes for poor lies. Greens are good... More

Whilst it is a little distance from anywhere it is well worth the visit.. The view from my room was absolutely awesome. I just sat there drinking it in before wandering down to the beautiful pool area for a swim. The Hotel is well appointed if not a little aged. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. The restaurant serves... More

I arrived here at night directly from Bangkok airport. The two and half hours journey was boring and when I landed at this place I was depressed as it was in a dark, isolated jungle. The room was at 4th floor, the room is OK type. It is spacious, little more than basic, old but clean. The bed was comfortable,... More

2 hour drive from Bangkok, Superior Pool room, large and direct access to the lap pool that runs the entire length of the 1st floor rooms, so not really private. Main downer for me is that the restaurant is located in the Golf pavilion so you have to walk from the resort. Staff could be a little more clued in.... More

Very nice location. Nice surroindings, old but good room. Very good restaurant. Swimming pool nice but close very early in 7 o'clock. So if you come to hotel for visiting attractions like Khao yai national park and come back in the evening you can not use the pool! The staff does not speak basic english. We booked 5 massages in sme... More

We stayed at the resort to attend a seminar. The reception area looked old when we walked in and I was thinking what are the rooms going to be like. They are quite old and dated and I thought 2500 baht was too much for the room. If you have a room with a view it is better but I... More

Located at the base of a mountain the course has a nice cool breeze. The course itself is pretty average for Thailand; nothing special. The hotel is a bit of a sprawling mess over 2 blocks. It is clearly set up to cater for huge Korean groups that descend on Thailand for their golfing holidays. It does have a nice... More

Stayed at Sir James for 2 nights for a society golf weekend. Rooms are3 nice and spacious. Breakfast is typical Thailand up-country fare. Quality of the Hotel far surpasses the quality of the course. Althought the layout of the course is not bad, with some nice views, revines and forest. The playing surface is rubbish. Hard to define where the... More

Our second visit and WOW!! what a change. The hotel has been wonderfully renovated and the rooms upgraded to superb. Great BBQ dinner for 60 of us ob Saturday evening and attentive thoughtful staff. The golf course is still a good test, long for a country course but most enjoyable, will be back again soon.

Great value. 18-hole golf course, challenging golf course. The resort and the main swimming pool has the best view in the resort anyway. Large and clean spacious rooms, beautiful facility, great staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to the golfers.
