...this is how Hampton Manor describes itself on their website and this is actually what you get. We just stayed one night but we absolutely loved it. The building itself is beautiful. Inside they have done a brilliant job at turning it into a contemporary country retreat. Staff is young and fun to talk to -- they also know how...

We booked the hotel's Tasting Room by the restaurant which looks into the kitchen's goings on for my son's 21st birthday dinner x 4 diners.. a tough gig as he's a trained chef & not prone to 'gushing'... well what a fantastic evening we had... from the initial booking through to the great food, super staff & a thoroughly memorable...

Spent a day and a night on business and was very pleased. My room (Robert Dudley) was a good size, well decorated and very comfortable with a bath and a walk in shower in the en suite. Hotel was quiet despite a number of guests. The restaurant is closed on Mondays but food in the bar was good. The staff...

Although my initial experience making a reservation was not very satisfactory, the efforts the staff went to in making up for the misunderstanding were more than acceptable. Our overnight stay was to attend an evening wedding function held at Hampton Manor. It is a particularly beautiful setting and our room, the Lord Mowbray, overlooked the well manicured lawns at the...

Last time we went for afternoon tea here it was served in Peel's restaurant but this time it was served in 'the parlour' a new addition to the hotel. Yes, more...

Had a great day hosted by the very efficient, accommodating and attentive staff of Hampton Manor. We were welcomed with pastries and coffee which set the tone for the quality of catering we were to enjoy throughout the day. We had a perfect space to use which united chic creativity and personality with efficiently professional furnishings. It was great to...

Lovely venue, stunning gardens, pleasant and attentive staff, food was without a doubt beautifully presented and of a high standard - only negative point is the price, £35 on a weekend is pretty steep we've been for a number of afternoon tea's of a similar standard in comparable venues that we're priced between £20-25 - i think £25-30 is probably...

My daughter took me for afternoon tea here and it was a beautiful sunny afternoon. We booked half an hour ahead and let them know we do not eat beef. The surroundings are beautiful and whether you sit inside the lovely high ceiling rooms or outside you will feel pampered.
