My wife booked an overnight stay at the hotel with Secret Escapes, it good value for money. Most of the hotel was in great condition, our bathroom had a few signs of wear and tear. The Spa was great and the outdoor heated pool was fun too. The highlight of the stay was the restaurant. We chose their six course... More

Staff were ok some were friendly. Wasn't shown around the spa or anything as some seemed to be was just shown to the room which is fine, but... More

I dont normally write these things, but hopefully the owners will get some impressions of how our stay went. Lovely building, lovely location. On checking in we were politely greeted. We were asked to pay the full amount and deposit, which i dont have a problem with. The money was held and not with drawn from my account. At the... More

Despite the pretty grim weather, my wife and I had a thoroughly enjoyable time and cannot find fault at all. We stayed for two nights on our way back from a stay in Bristol and were in need of some recuperative time! The hotel is a large country house set in several acres of lovely mature grounds on the edge... More

Just been for a champagne afternoon tea. Beautiful hotel, grounds & location if you wanted to walk into Bath. It was a shame that the hotel was so quite as although the room for serving afternoon tea was beautiful there was no atmosphere We sat in silence until 2 girls on a spa day came in to have their tea.... This is a great location for seeing the sights in Bath and the surrounding area. This is our 4th time staying here. The grounds and gardens are wonderful though the location requires a car from Bath. The food is wonderful. Our service on our last stay was lacking a bit, due to a wedding party taking over right after us.... More

We stayed at the Hotel for two nights for our Honeymoon in the Junior Suite, which cost £450 for the two nights. The room itself was very big, and I couldn't fault the cleanliness, however it does need a little TLC and I do feel the stay was very overpriced. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and I couldn't... More

Stayed there for a night. Paid 300 for a 'suite'. The 'suite' is far from it. Room was dirty. Food across the entire occasion was dreadful. The breakfast which was included: they refused to refill pastries and had concentrated orange juice??? This is a hotel in a beautiful location. but that's about it.
