Palazzino Nina Boutique Hotel concept revolves around the preservation of this over 165-year old townhouse situated in the core of a typical Maltese town. The hotel is comprised of seven elegant, stylish, independent suites, well separated from each other. Palazzino Nina is located in the heart of Malta in the prominent cultural city of Qormi, a 10-minute drive away from the Airport, from Valletta the capital city of Malta and from Mdina, the old medieval capital. Indeed, the Palazzino lies in the old part of the city where one can venture through quaint narrow streets and alleys featuring handcrafted doors, intricate ironware, and a number of shops carrying out traditional trades. The commercial hub of Sliema with its myriad of shops of all types overlooking a number of popular beaches is also just a 15-minute drive away 6.0Km away from the hotel. All can be easily reached by public transport which stops by the hotel. A Hygiene & Sanitation Protocol is in place to ensure a safe environment for both our guests and our staff. All suites are well separated from each other. Independent access to all suites through external courtyards makes our safety measures complete. The hotel is not accessible to non-residents. Only hotel guests have electronic access to the premises. Guests are able to mingle and relax at a safe social distance in the hotel’s various large outdoor spaces such as the Palazzino’s sheltered central courtyard, deck area and the sun-kissed rooftop sun deck terrace.

Qormi, Malta1 contribution
The hotel is located in a town called Qormi. This place is perfect to stay in because it has great religious history and gets to experience the life of the Maltese first hand. The building is a beautiful small palace built like any other traditional Maltese house which has a history of over 100 years. Most of the bottom floor is kept in its traditional way but looks more open and fresh. Underground there is an old war bunker that was carved by hand into the ground to serve as a protection from bombs during the world war. Now it has been turned into a bar and relaxing place to have some drinks ( while preserving the rock as a reminder of what it once was). Every room has its own name (About Maltese Culture) and while staying there you get to learn something or a bit of history about the topic of your room. Apart from that, the rooms look exactly like every fancy luxurious hotel with a tv, charging ports, kettle, electronic door key, AC and a very clean bathroom with a shower/bath. At the top, there is a very nice terrace with a lovely view of the town. You can either have a drink and relax on one of the sunbeds or you can go into the Jacuzzi where you can also be brought drinks and relax. Timothy and his mother Doreen were absolutely wonderful they made sure we didn't need anything else and the security of the place was amazing as well. However, the most important thing is that they are certified by the MTA (Malta Tourism Authority) for their cleanliness and dealing with Covid-19. If there is one place in Malta where you are least likely to catch Covid it is this wonderful place. Truly well done to the Manager and the owner. If you stay here during your Vacation to the Maltese Islands you will not be dissapointed.

This Boutique hotel offers great hospitality in a luxurious ambiance! Timothy and his wife run this hotel with attention to every single detail. Room and service quality is definitely 5 stars and beyond, in my personal opinion. You are able to arrange check-in times according to your needs and they treat you like royalty. The hotel is a 7-suite property: every room is furnished individually. During your stay, Timothy, the General Manager, is personally engaged as your concierge for anything you need during your time in Malta. There is a rooftop terrace with sundeck and jacuzzi. High level of security: only registered guests can enter the hotel. This area is historically known for their bread bakers. It’s a residential area, not a tourist hotspot. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious getaway, avoiding the crowds. Just let them know what you are looking for and they will make it happen. Value for money is very good!
