Have visited last year in the summer and decided to pop in again and wasn't disappointed and the pie was simply yummy ! Excellent service and felt very welcome. Taking my father to sample the pies and making it a regular visit !

Stayed here to go to a wedding at the Devonshire arms a couple of miles up the road. Small but well equiped room, plenty tea coffee and biscuits, good wi-fi and a very good breakfast the next morning, Just what was needed after a few shandies the night before,

One room of the pub is super cosy with an open fire. The restaurant area could have been warmer. Good selection of beers to choose from, including local ales and hand pumped ales. Plenty of veggie options on the menu (Pieminister pies.)

Lovely pub, lovely pies and lovely staff! Room small but very comfortable, and very well equipped, containing everything you could need....magazines, beautiful toiletries, tea, coffee, biscuits....... As previously mentioned breakfast is cooked to order and enjoyable. Would be happy to stay again if we were in the area.

Our second visit and we weren't disappointed. We came specifically for the pie, mash and peas and enjoyed a Moo and Kate and Sidney. As a bonus the beer was fantastic and the background music could have been from my playlist. We didn't stay the night so can't comment on the accommodation.

What a welcoming pub. Friendly staff. They do amazing pie and mash here with mushy peas and gravy. The food was served nice and hot. I didn't want it to end. Nice seating area outside of the weather permits. £19 for lunch and soft drinks for two people. Well worth it. Try it. You will love it.

I stayed b&b on a walking holiday. This place ticks all the boxbes and gets 5 stars in all categories; Very friendly, lovely traditional pub, nice beer, excellent dinner (they only do pies but the one I had was so nice why would you want anything else), comfy en-suite room and a proper freshly cooked full English breakfast

An excellent pub in a really beautiful part of the world. A very comfortable room, first class breakfast and a warm welcome all provided the best sort of stay we could have wished for. Thank you for looking after us so well.

After a long old day of hiking the perfect welcome from Maria was "you look like you need a pint and the room has a bath". It's a friendly well-run freehouse pub with good rooms all with the aforementioned bath. The beers and pies aren't bad either! Breakfast included wonderful scrambled egg. A night here and you're ready for another...

“Both rooms are fine; room nr. 2 is the most quiet one because bedroom window is at the back. But the road is not very busy because Addingham has a bypass road.”

“only two rooms and we had the front one the other room was being re decorated at the back but looked good too may have been slightly bigger but ours suited us just fine. Warm quiet everything you needed.”
