Stayed here for 2 nights it was lovely , staff were friendly , food was great both at breakfasts and dinner, the lounge is perfect, big cosy chairs and a huge real fire , but the real joy is the view from the bedroom window out onto the water of killary harbour , as arnie says ( I'll be back...

We had a late lunch in the restaurant. After hearing great reviews of the Irish friendliness, we were surprised at the service. We had a great steak cooked to perfection with sauté onions and mushrooms. The mash that came with it was great. However, the vegetables consisted of a piece of broccoli and a piece of cauliflower between two with...

We stayed here on a bicycle trip we recently took, well so did many other people on bikes. The hotel has lots of history. The rooms were very nice and the bathroom huge. This is the perfect place to stay to just stay indoors and rest. The restaurant was excellent and the bar very nice. The service was excellent. I...

Stayed here September 2016. Had room number 21 which is a front facing room with great views over the fjord. Another one of us stayed in room number 5 which was back facing no view but really quiet. We all had dinner in the bar that night, we were served by Noel who was very friendly and efficient. He was...

We stayed in the "modern part" of the hotel, in a spacious, comfortable room. Very nice view of the "fjord". Warm and friendly atmosphere. The manager is always ready to answer questions about the region and give advice. Nice (huge) Irish breakfast: if you can't it that much, there is a "lighter version". We enjoyed it so much that we...

Stopped here on a beautiful sunny day for a quick seafood lunch. We chose the mussels. They were delicious, if a bit on the smallish side. View from the deck is wonderful with the fishing boats nearby.

This is the fourth time I've stayed at the Leenane Hotel. As usual the room was clean, comfortable and large, the staff fantastic and the food good. Excellent value for money. The hotel catered well for a large group as well as other guests.
