We had 3 very comfortable nights here in September.. We felt like we were at a country house party . The young staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, The location was ideal with stunning views of the Fjord and surrounding countryside We can't wait to return to this beautiful part of Ireland

Went here for a long weekend a couple of weeks ago, the location is beautiful and everything the west of Ireland should be, tranquil with stunning scenery. We had three nights in the hotel and when we arrived were shown to a room at the back of the building, small (as was the double bed) and a rather dismal view... More

Got to the hotel about 7.30 p.m. on the 9th Oct 2016. Very quiet but went inside and found only two staff in the entire place. We had booked over a month previously through Voyage Prive. The staff told us they were closed for the winter and our booking had been moved, without consultation, to another Hotel, Delphi Resort, 8.5km... More

My husband and I spent the first 2 days of our driving tour in Ireland here, and really enjoyed it. The location was peaceful and relaxing, with an amazing view of the Fjord. The hotel staff were all friendly and engaging, with our second night capped off by a song/guitar performance by our hostess Grainne, for us and 3 other... More

Just returned from a three day stay at the Lodge with my wife. Great location for seeing Connemara and West Mayo, and just a 5 minute walk to Aashleagh Falls. Both the hotel and the staff were faultless. Really friendly place, and sound advice on where to go from the staff who knew the area well. Many thanks to all... More

Stunning location, a great, well-maintained Anglo-Irish Ascendency house, beautifully furnished. There is nothing generic or anonymous about this house. It has a beauty and a character that matches the area. The bedrooms was great - comfy bed, properly dark and quiet at night. There are no TVs in the rooms nor a bar. However, there is a fantastic TV room... More
