We had the Castlebane room which was a generous size and very comfortable. Very relaxing to sit in the lounge chair, look out the window and sip a wine. Views over the lake and outstanding. Complimentary wine was also very nice.

What a lovely, special place! Our bedroom, the Casey, had an gorgeous view over the lake and was clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. There were even a couple of bottles of wine welcoming us. Our breakfast the next morning was one of the best we’ve ever experienced. In fact, my husband said he had the best omelet he has EVER...

This is a most hospitable and comfortable place to stay with an exceptional restaurant. The location overlooks the New Lake on the edge of the village - perfect for sitting in the garden with a glass of wine watching the sun go down. The room we stayed in had an even better view. It was immaculately clean and generously comfortable....

Stayed here with my wife for one night and loved everything from Beginning to end. A lovely warm welcome sees your bags carried to your rooms with lots of information about dining times and the local area. Beautiful evening meal, gorgeous view over the water and relaxed, friendly service. Had a local Donegal beer which was followed by some lovely...

We have been going there for the pat 11 years and are yet to find anywhere that could compare or compete. couldn't recommend...

What keeps bringing us back is the warm welcome from the owners, Susan and Derek, the lovely accomodation and the wonderful food. Susan and the front of house team are unfailingly friendly. The guest rooms and public areas are comfortable and immaculately maintained. The food is...

Now I am not normally one to use the word resplendent in a review but the welcome and attention to detail in both the accommodation and food in this establishment was fitting of such a description. The night we spent here was something I intend repeating.

Well done to Susan and her amazing team - another fabulous dinner. It's one of our favourite places ever and a warm welcome always awaits. €42 for 3 courses - but that's not all - canapés with drinks and always a delicious sorbet to clear the palate. Such good value.
