Detailed Reviews
Stayed for 3 nights last week and had a great time. Our room was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. Toiletries were provided and tea/coffee facilties.
Heather and Sam were lovely hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were super with a choice on the menu. The view from the dining room was amazing. It was a short walk to the beach and the town.
We will definitely be back.

Friendly hosts welcomed us even though we had arrived a bit early, great room with gorgeous views of golf course and the coast. Room and breakfast very nice, would certainly go again. There is a short walk to get to the main street in Dunfanaghy, but no problem for the wife and I who love to get steps in. This would be a great base for exploring this part of Ireland.

This was an amazing find after our booked accommodations elsewhere fell through due to a maintenance issue. Stopped in at a different inn in town and she was full but sent us here, she actually called and made a reservation for us, (the people of Dunfanaghy are so friendly).
We found Heather’s place so comfortable and cozy. We slept well and rose each morning to a cooked to order breakfast. There wasn’t any detail missed with the accommodations here. The view is amazing and our room looked over the golf course and strand. Easy walk to all the town shops.
No details missed here. Everything was perfect and one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Rockhaven B&B, the room was modern and spotlessly clean. Heather and Sam were perfect hosts offering advice and knowledge on places to visit in the local areas. The breakfast was excellant with a great variety to choose from. We would highly recommend this B&B we will definitely return again.

Heather and Sam were excellent hosts - the room was sizeable, had a lovely en-suite bathroom and myself and my two kids couldn’t have been happier. Great location too, easy walking distance to Dunfanaghy and the beach. And a lovely breakfast as well. We’ll be back:)

We had come into the charming town of Dunfanaghy and went to a B&B/restaurant that had been recommended in a Rick Steves guide book. The rooms in that place were small, dingy, and very expensive, so we opted to look elsewhere. Someone in our car remembered seeing a B&B sign on the outskirts of town, so we backtracked to check it out. Were we glad we did! The rooms at this gorgeous B&B were larger, nicer, and much cheaper than the fancy one we first looked at. There are fantastic views of the water and the mountains, a golf course and sheep across the road, and a pasture of cattle beside the house. Breakfast included a few extras, such as a potato waffle and mushrooms. Rockhaven is a great B&B and when we go back, we'll stay here again.

My wife and I have stayed at Rockhaven House many times over the last 12 years. Heather and Samuel are very warm and hospitable hosts with a great knowledge of the area and its many attractions. Their home is beautifully situated, extremely well maintained and a joy to stay in. Rooms are superbly presented, and beds are comfortable. The dining room which commands superb views across Sheephaven bay is a wonderful place to take meals. Views from our bedroom were spectacular. Food is wonderfully prepared by heather a great cook, and served by Samuel, a most helpful and convivial host. I can not recommend this lovely home highly enough. We most certainly will be back...and soon!

Loved our stay here. Delightful hosts, Heather and Sam, beautiful room with comfortable bed, delicious food. We had an excellent meal with traditional music down the road at the Oyster. Couldn't ask for a nicer place.

3 of us stayed at this B & B recently on our travels to Donegal and Glenveagh National Park. The Hosts couldnt have been more helpful and went out of their way to make us feel "at home" with advice on where to visit, etc, etc. We were 2 men and 1 American girl and had 2 rooms which were very attractive, nice views and very clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast was also excellent. The Proprietors Heather & Sam could not have been nicer.

Sam and Heather are great hosts. Lovely rooms and the views especially from the dining room (or your own room if facing the sea) are simply gorgeous. Great breakfast and Sam was very helpful with the local sights and photo stops. Great location as well if you going going to horn head for night/sunrise photography as it's just 15 minutes there and back if you don't stop!
