Had one of the best meals ever last night in the Powerscourt Arms. Tommahawk steak for two people. I cannot begin to describe how delicious it was and the presentation was fantastic. Darren it was amazing, look forward to having it again!!

Beautiful hotel. We had a birthday dinner on Tuesday evening. Chloe and all the staff were so helpful, setting up the balloons /cake /decorations etc. The food was excellent and everyone had a great evening. I always look forward to going back again and I highly recommend a visit 👍

Had two good meals here with good service from a young man. However Sunday lunch was different staff, and whilst the food was still good, I had to ask for dessert choice. We decided to share one pudding, telling her we wanted to share, One pudding turned up with one spoon and she had gone before we could ask for another! Yes they were very busy, but we had said 1 pudd 2 people!

Just being for dinner ordered the fillet steak which was €31.95, only steak choice on the menu, waitress told me they were out of fillet but they had strip loin I enquired was it the same price, she said she would check, she returned to tell me they still had fillet steak which I was thrilled about. After an hour we received our meal my steak was covered piled high with crispy onions and micro herbs, After sampling the edge of the steak I removed away the polled high crspy onions and micro herbs only to discover it wasn't fillet steak I had been given as it had fat and marbling running in the middle of it, I couldnt eat the rest of the steak, I didn't complain which I should have but didn't want to complain to waitresses as they seemed very busy and run off their feet, would not recommend for food very poor I'm sure the chef knows tge difference between fillet steak and other cuts of beef as I do.…

We were staying in Powerscourt House Hotel and decided to venture into Enniskerry for dinner. Was really pot luck that we ended up here as it was the only place we could get parked, but we were so glad that we did. Good selection of food, heavy emphasis on fish but plenty of other choices too. The food was hot, tasty and plentiful but the star of the show was our young waiter who I think was called Charlie. He was so pleasant and seemed to be working on his own for the most part. There was a table of 4 sitting beside us and I wouldn’t go as far as to say they were rude but they were certainly obnoxious and loud. But Charlie handled them really well, he never let them ruffle his feathers and remained professional and friendly the whole time. Will certainly go back the next time I’m down that part of the country.…

After an incident last week we were offered back for an apology which we got from the owner and head chef for the way we were treated. Couldn't believe how sincere they were and delighted we took them upon their offer to rectify the issue. It is a fantastic place for food and drinks it is a very family friendly atmosphere and all staff are friendly and interactive with children. A real gem in the heart of Enniskerry village. The powerscourt arms is a real classic meets modern vibe and the management have done a fantastic job.

We stopped here at the pantry for a coffee to sit outside because we had the dog. The coffee was delicious and we also had a homemade raspberry scone. But we were disappointed with the outside seating in a small courtyard first there was dog poo near our table when I told the staff they cleaned it up but where not to happy then as we looked around the stones where covered in cigarette ends and bottle tops and obviously not been cleaned in a while. So while the coffee and scones were delicious the seating area let it down.

Looks like a nice enough place from the outside, however the staff are unfriendly and unwelcoming, they stated they are not dog friendly. Impossible to order food without wandering around to different parts of the building like some sort of rubbish treasure hunt. Decided to head over to Poppies instead which was bustling and friendly (and welcomes dogs)
