Looks like a nice enough place from the outside, however the staff are unfriendly and unwelcoming, they stated they are not dog friendly. Impossible to order food without wandering around to different parts of the building like some sort of rubbish treasure hunt. Decided to head over to Poppies instead which was bustling and friendly (and welcomes dogs)

Stayed here recently for a wedding nearby. A lot of comments here describe the place as "Basic" but basic to me should at least be clean, has a TV and tea and coffee facilities in all the rooms, eg IBIS or Travelodge. This place is riddled in mould, wallpaper hanging from every wall. On check in we were told that the heating was down but they ensured that it would be back up later that evening. At the wedding, we met a couple who were booked into her for 2 night but walked straight out after seeing the room and i honestly cannot blame them. When we got back to the hotel after the wedding, there was still no heating so we ended having to sleep in our clothes. I also rrefused to walk barefoot around the room. i kept my socks on. There was no blind or anything in our bathroom window which looked straight onto the car park The one positiveve thing about thsi place is knowing the next morning you get to check out and go home and wash your clothes and have a shower. If I could give the place Minus star i would This is a hotel where you wouldnt even let your dog stay in. In saying all of the above, I will say that on ccheck out we did complain and they did give us a refund but still, this place is unacceptable

Booked in here last weekend for 2 nights. When I arrived at reception I was disgusted it was filthy dated and smells. Was nothing like the photos on their site. TV in bedroom wasnt working, no wifi. We only stayed the one night. Was delighted to get away from it. Also had a drink at the bar and there was midgies flying around our heads.

The entrance to the accommodation part is uninviting! When we were taken to the room the carpets and general feel was dirty. Once in the room we had 2 single beds pushed together. A rickety old wardrobe, a ripped chair to sit on. A ceiling made up of 6-7 different sections. A sink that was making a gurgling sound for at least minute once used. Personally I couldn't wait to get out there! The place could and should be a little goldmine for tourists and locals as its in ideal location. You need to speculate to accumulate!!

Just returned from 2 nights here. Sue was amazing she couldn't do any more to make us welcome. Our teenagers loved the atmosphere and craic in the place which is high praise from them. The staff were very friendly and polite.. It's in the middle of beautiful Enniskerry which is close to lots of places to visit. The rooms are dated but they are renovating so it wil be fab when it's modernised. The parts that are completed r lovely. The outdoor area is very well done with lots of tables and a huge carpark. Well done guys you've done a fantastic job during Covid. Thanks Sue for your hospitality.

Spacious rooms, friendly staff in a central location with ample car parking. There's a great buzz about the place and our trip happened during Covid restrictions. I felt safe as everyone practiced social distancing and the wearing of face masks. I will stay here again.

Just had a family meal here, must say the food and toilets were not up to scratch, first the rice came out all stuck and was stodgy, my father's plate had a big chip out of it, the cajun chicken salad was just a bit of cajun powder sprinkled over it, when I brought this to the attention of the waitress she just shrugged her shoulders, no manager came to apologise or anything would not recommend this for eating. 😭

Called in for dinner.. Our server was excellent. Food was nice up till we found chewed chewing gum in the bottom of the chips.. It was old as it was gone hard and stuck to bottom of dish.. Quiet a shock as what we ate up to that find was quiet nice. It was dealt with and our server seemed quiet embarrassed but not his fault

We go here for food maybe once every 6-8 weeks for dinner. But we called in last week just for light lunch and my partner had mushroom soup which he said was delicious with homemade brown bread. I had the baked ham and cheese toasty on sourdough bread and chips and it was absolutely fab. Would highly recommend it. Staff nice as usual and will be back.
