We spent 2 excellent nights at the Grove Mount B&B ! The room are clean, well equipped. The service is excellent and the welcome unforgettable. Lot of information available on the best places to visit in the surroundings. And a nice breakfast. High standards compared to many other places in Ireland, aven more expensive !
Probably one of the best run B & B's we have stayed in. Rooms are cosy, quiet and well appointed. Breakfast in the conservatory was very good, well laid out and plentiful. Superbly organised, very impressed.
Just back from a weekend touring West Clare featuring the Cliffs of Moher, Lisdoonvarna, Kilkee, Spanish Point and many other fantastic sites and attractions. I travelled with my brother to Clare and stayed at the Grovemount House bed and breakfast and I must say this establishment is top class. It is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and is perfectly situated close to the town of Ennistymon so that all points of interest are easily accessed. The lady of the house, Sheila, could not do enough for us and the large and tasty breakfasts set us up for the day’s travels. Hopefully I will get a chance to travel back to Grovemount House in the near future. Treat yourself to a weekend there. Ray Quinn. Dublin, Ireland.
Stayed here when attending a wedding close by. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were warm and friendly, breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Ironing facilities were available on request. The lady of the house even let us stay after the checkout as she knew our wedding was later on in the day and we were able to take our time getting ready. This was much appreciated. Definitely would stay again
We found Grovemount House to be a very modern and clean bed and breakfast. Staff were very welcoming, large car park, choice of breakfast items, rooms were very spacious and modern, with good on suite. Short walk into Ennistymon. I would definitely recommend Grovemount House.
Stayed here on Jan 27th and 28th 2017 as the Falls Hotel runs a set dance weekend & it was full as are most B&Bs that weekend. The house as I was informed by owner opens just for the weekend , the rooms are of dated decor but were clean with tea making facility, breakfast was lovely that's the 1 star, Main problem with this B& B was the cold ,even thought the heat was on at various occasions ,the room was freezing . I expressed my complaints on checkout & by letter to owner ,which was responded to but no discount or refund will be offered . Overpriced and cold ,not to be recommended or revisited . There are better B&B's in few miles away at much better rates seems she is very happy to charge dearer than the Falls hotel to unsuspecting set dancers , I seen a review in 2013 of another set dancer who expressed the same as me COLD room ,but owner is pretending to no nothing of this problem , that in itself is enough to warn people of the character of owner.…
Myself and my daughters stayed here for 2 nights, very comfortable beds, brilliant location for lahinch, cliffs of moher, Doolin and less than an hour to ailwee caves. lady owner very helpful and obliging. Lovely tasty breakfast with fabulous homemade scones! Would def stay again
Very close to town, but quiet location. House is well equipped and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable room with great shower. Good breakfast selection, and the full Irish was awesome. Good wi-fi connection. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. Very good value for money!
Sheila welcomed us to Grove Mount House on our arrival to Ireland for our first two nights - a perfect spot! Just a 5 minute stroll to the heart of Ennistymon for dinner/shopping/pubs, it is also a short leisurely drive from Shannon Airport (not too much traffic for this Canadian driving on LHS for the first time). We found it well situated for the drive to The Cliffs of Moher, Doolin, and a lovely drive of The Burren with a spectacular sunset at Fanore on our way home to Grove Mount. The breakfasts were delicious, starting with plenty of fresh fruit each day (this was special with Grove Mount - this quality not experienced again on our trip). Warm, welcoming and helpful, a beautiful touch of Irish country. Thank you, Sheila!
