This retreat is unbelievably relaxing, food is beautiful, yoga is beyond fab. Aoife is such an incredible yoga teacher, every class was pure bliss. The best yoga classes I have ever done(I've been doing yoga for 14yrs) Can't wait to go again.
I celebrated my 70th birthday with a mid-week stay in Sept 2022. Our two teachers, Sarah and Aoife, provided the perfect sessions. Each have their own flair and finesse leading us through energizing flows to relaxing meditations and breath work practices. My little cottage room with en suite was perfect and I enjoyed meeting the six other solo travelers for my retreat. Sarah led our little group on an amazing walk along the Cliffs of Moher, far from the main area. I never would have found this path without her guidance. Utilizing Sarah’s breath work practices , as well as imagining walking the path up to the yoga studio, fill me with a wash of peace and tranquility that brings me right back to the Retreat. I was able to add on a massage on two afternoons which only added to my leaving feeling rejuvenated, relaxed while energized. I look forward to returning for more retreats. Thank you!!…
What a wonderful experience at this idyllic location with it's relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and gorgeous food. Every part of the weekend retreat was pure bliss. The yoga classes were something else with a fantastic teacher, a panoramic view into the Atlantic - in the most beautiful, purpose built space. If we could have stayed longer, we would have and we will certainly try to come back soon again. Thank you very much to everyone at the Cliffs of Moher Yoga Retreat.
This was my second stay at this property, as I ran a private retreat here previously (in 2018). Of course I loved it the first time or I wouldn't have planned to return again. While there were times that the team wasn't very responsive via email leading up to me bringing a group of 20 Americans over for a retreat... When I arrived I felt instantly at ease. They were very much ready for us and incredibly accommodating and welcoming. In retrospect, my concerns were unfounded. The women in the office were very on top of things. Also I've since been told that they are working on pre-comms and it will be addressed. In fairness, they mostly run in house retreats and those have to be managed differently. I attended a weekend in house retreat leading up to leading my private retreat and the instructor Aoife was everything you'd want out of a teacher and host... Personable, warm, welcoming and I absolutely *loved* her yoga style, themed classes and the way they made you feel. She really helped me get in the right head space leading into my retreat. I also felt no pressure to join in group walks or anything else, but when I did, they were great. I highly recommend a retreat with Aoife! Now onto the good stuff... Which is to say that will things were good before, they are great now. The food is phenomenal. Honestly some of the most flavorful and creative food I've ever had at any retreat center in the world (and I've been to lots). Their chef Darren, and other kitchen staff Rory, Jacob, Ali and others are much more engaging with guests than previous kitchen staff were...and most importantly they put out incredible meals that are always ready on time or early (key when we had separate excursions planned). The new additions like the "always on" hot tub, wellness area with infrared sauna and steam room were huge hits with my guests and really elevated the experience. All areas were kept very clean and well kept. Between walks up to get iced coffee at the nearby Moher Cottage (lovely owner and great views) to the swimming spot in the nearby sea to the stunning views in every direction... It's honestly hard to find fault with anything. Michelle was very available via WhatsApp since their normal manager was on vacation. Louisa who was there two of the days was very sweet and lovely to work with. I'm already planning a return with another group in the next 18 months. I'm sure the pandemic was incredibly hard on them but they have certainly "bounced back" / "bounced forward" and things are better than ever!! Request: never let Chef Darren leave, he's a magician with the local food. See you soon!! …
Beautiful spot near the ocean, wonderful people - engaged yoga teacher, excellent food and a charming old farmhouse with lovely interiors. Everything easy going and unagitated. I would love to come back again.
I just wanted to thank all the staff at the Cliffs of Moher; Darren the chef,Jenny and all that worked there. They made the place feel so relaxed and welcoming. I benefited hugely from Niall O 'Murchu's teachings. The breathwork was phenomenal for my body and all the stress to relief it. Like nothing before. The ice baths took my mind deeper and showed me how much resilience I can have as a person. So powerful. 10/10 Cliffs of Moher retreats.
A lovely 2 night retreat to start the year. Thank you to Michelle, Michael and all the team. It is a special place - the beautiful views, the design of the facilities, wonderful thermal suite available at any time, comfortable rooms, and lovely hang out areas with blazing fires and plenty to keep occupied. The yoga my Michelle was very restorative and suitable for all levels, really gorgeous and she creates a wonderfully supportive and inclusive environment. The food is excellent and plenty of it! A feast for the eyes and the body. So many lovely small touches. My favourite retreat in Ireland to date and will definitely be back. The 2 nights flew by - would love to see a 3 night option perhaps too from time to time especially for those with long drives either side. Looking forward to reading Michelle’s book too! Thank you again everyone…
Amazing weekend with friends with the perfect balance of yoga, relaxing and hiking for us. Lovely accommodation and facilities, topped off by delicious and healthy food at every meal. We would definitely return.
What’s an incredibly magical place… had been waiting to come here for some time and finally managed to book into a wim hoff retreat. From the moment you arrive in the cliffs of moher retreat you feel zen. It’s so beautiful, the staff are all amazing and the food was out of this world - every meal was devoured! The studio space is spectacular with its views overlooking the Atlantic. I will definitely be returning and can’t recommend this place enough to come solo, with a friend or a group to reset. Thank you 🙏🏻 Karen
The cliffs of moher retreat is a place of tranquility, relaxation and utter peacefulness. I found myself entering a warm, welcoming and homely place where you could see so much love has been poured in to by Michelle and her husband. To create a sanctuary so unique is truly very special. I opted for a 4 day retreat midweek. I didn’t realise there were retreats for a week as otherwise I would have stayed longer. We were very privileged to have Michelle as our teacher for this retreat. She is an amazing teacher and full of wisdom about the practice of yoga amongst a whole host of other things we talked about. I absolutely loved my stay and would highly recommend anybody to go. Everything about the experience is nourishing.
