Susan was wonderful. Great room with lots of information provided. Very homey atmosphere. A little hard to find on those Irish roads but beautiful location once you’re GPS kicks in. Enjoyed tea time and homemade goodies.
I've stayed at The Siding B&B several times. I keep coming back because Susan offers a great stay at a low price. This small B&B is in a nice location, right between the business districts of Lahinch and Ennistymon, about 2 miles (or less) from each, with a nice view of the farm across the road. The rooms are not luxurious, but are very comfortable. Breakfast is in the same category. Just right to get your day going. I always go straight from breakfast to Lahinch Golf Club to play their Old Course and I never feel lacking in energy for the tough walk after eating at Siding B&B. Susan is an excellent host and I always look forward to my annual stay there.
Just stayed for two nights in this little gem in Lahinch. Such a lovely homely spot, most importantly followed all the covid19 safety guidelines so we felt very safe. A beautiful Irish breakfast to greets us each morning and not to mention the comfortable bed each nights was so cosy. Will definitely be back again for sure, Susan and Doug are great host and are very welcoming.
We had 3 fantastic days with Susan at her wonderful B&B The Sidings. Where to begin...i guess with the beds. So so comfy, we all slept like babes. Susan explained i had an orthopaedic mattress...aha i thought! Well all beds were super quality. An excellent breakfast menu to entice us rise and shine in the morning! A great variety of cooked fare and tasty muesli, home cooked muffins...the list goes on. Of course we were blessed with the soft irish weather!!! And being Irish had rather hopeless rain gear, but Susan had all radiators going and we warmed up nicely after a day out on the waves surfing in the downpour! She even had a tv/ sitting room for us all to ourselves. The short walk into Lahinch village, exactly 20 mins, was just the trick to work up an appetite for dinner....and to justify the thirst quenching pint of Guinness. Thank you Susan for the top notch stay.…
My trip to co.Clare to walk the Burren Way started in Lahinch where I stayed at the Siding. Out of the 4 B and B’s I stayed in during my trip it was by far and away my favourite. Really comfy bed, an amazing breakfast and a great host in Susan for whom nothing was too much trouble. She was very helpful no matter how many annoying questions I asked and even gave me a lift to the start of my trail. COVID-19 guidelines were followed well but while also keeping the personal touch to help you settle in and feel comfortable.
Just stayed for three nights in this little gem in Lahinch... a lovely homely spot, the place was spotless and followed all of the Covid 19 safety guidelines... so we felt very safe and catered for. A beautiful breakfast to greet us each morning and lots of tips on what to do and where to go. Susan and Doug are greats hosts and make you feel like you are at home straight away... a lovely comfortable stay... we will definitely be back!
I continue to stay here everytime I go to Lahinch(which is often) The rooms are lovely and and always pristine. The breakfast is gorgeous and location is absolutely perfect. I don't normally leave reviews for places but this B&B is my favourite in and around the Lahinch/Enistymon area. This is a really top quality bed and breakfast. Definitely worth a visit.
This is what B&B's support to be like !! Lovely people hosting others with a smile and warm heart. Wish we could stay a few more nights. The view, the location, the breakfast - Everything was perfect.
We began our walk of the Burren Way with a stay at Susan's lovely bed and breakfast tucked in the suburbs of Lahinch. Everything at The Siding, our well appointed room, the common areas, and especially the breakfast, were top notch. Many thanks to Susan for picking us up at the bus stop, giving us a ride back into town for dinner, and then again to the beginning of our walk in the morning. She even offered to come back and pick us up in town after dinner, but we opted to walk the dedicated bike path to her home, as it was a lovely evening and we needed to work off some of the hearty Irish food we'd been eating.
The owners were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! The B&B was close to the town and to many other attractions. My only compliant was the room we stayed in had lots of spiders in it. My husband and I saw 5 total in 30 minutes. Other than that, our stay was fabulous!
