Great experience.. needed accommodation at short notice and Declan was super helpful. He came out to guide me into parking and made sure extra requests were followed up and all with a can do attitude. I know Lahinch well and it is great to see the Atlantic keeping up great hospitality service in spite of challenging times. Well done and thanks.
Great location, literally steps the away from the sea. Very friendly staff. Our room was comfortable but perhaps a little warm as 24c in August and windows don’t open far. Nice breakfast and restaurant with good parking across the way. Good value for the unbeaten location.
We visited the Atlantic Hotel in June after a gap of 40 (yes 40!) years. I returned to find a genuine welcome, spotless and comfortable room, and staff who could not do enough for us. This is the kind of hotel experience that I cherish in Ireland and long may it last. Food was very good with the full Irish breakfast a stand out - made with love, it's obvious on the plate. Lahinch itself is simply charming, lovely memories of a happy 4 day trip.
Breakfast was mislabelled on the menu and 1 staff member was very rude to us. Will not be going back. I also felt that charging 3 euro for the likes of beans was very expensive when it comes with a breakfast everywhere else. It also came out in a very small portion.
The staff are so welcoming, really friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. Overall a great experience and well worth a visit. You are walking distance to everywhere.
Convenient location. Very good food and service in bar. Nice breakfast. Twisting narrow stairs and corridors to upper floors. Room was a very tidy size, not like the promo images. I didn’t feel there was proper distancing between tables in the dining areas.
Loved this hotel. Excellent location (metres away from the beach), great food and a nice bar. The staff were extremely attentive - Declan and team couldn’t do enough for you. Highly recommend this hotel and Lahinch for a place to visit (Cliffs of Moher only a ten minute drive away).
Just back from a fantastic night away at the Atlantic Hotel Lahinch. Where do I start? Met a very friendly Lady called Martina who checked us in and could not have been nicer. Had a meal booked in the Restaurant but opted for the bar instead. The meal exceeded our expectations. My wife had a steak and I had the prawn and chicken stir fry. Absolutely delicious. From the young man who took our order to the lads behind the bar everyone was so friendly and very professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had the breakfast the next morning and was met by a very friendly outgoing young lady with a brilliant personality who took our order. Again the full irish was amazing. Freshly cooked to order. The Staff here are a credit to this Hotel. Overall a fantastic stay and cannot wait to return. Thank You to all the Staff. 10 out of 10. Three of my family had dinner here. We shared mussels served in tasty sauce with brown bread. We then had 3 different dishes. We had fish cakes, hake and cod. The portion sizes were very generous. The food was tasty. I had 3 large portions of hake which was served on creamy mash and vegetables. All of us enjoyed our meals. The vegetables were a little disappointing. Fish cakes and cod were very tasty. All of us were happy with our mains. We also had delicious banoffi pie and coffee. We enjoyed our meal. The dining area is quaint and a little tired. It couldd be improved upon and yet retain a relaxed charm. The toilets were spotless. All the staff were friendly and efficient.
