We spent three excellent nights at the Atlantic Hotel in Lahinch and would certainly recommend a visit. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The reception, bar and restaurant were all comfortable and relaxing while there was adequate parking to the rear of the hotel. The building is an older adapted (but very well maintained) residence and therefore has a few narrow corridors and stairs, it also means that noise tends to carry from the corridors and/or adjoining rooms, however from 11pm and throughout the night the hotel was extremely quiet. We always had a good nights sleep on the comfortable (and firm) beds. Our room was spotless, with tea facilities, hairdryers etc. TV, a large en-suite and everything we needed throughout the stay. The hotel is in the middle of Lahinch and near to local bars, restaurants, golf courses and shops. We would certainly stay here again…

Super close to the water; we could see the ocean from out thrid floor room, but it was a hike up the stairs. No worry for us, but something that might be difficult for others. The bartender was lovely, exactly what I imagined an Irish bartender would be like. The bar was aesthetically a step up from a pub but still had a pub's welcome.

Didn't stay in the hotel, only went for dinner. The food should never have left the kitchen. It looked unappetising and didn’t taste at all. The vegetables were either microwaved or kept warm for hours. No taste on them. The mashed potatoes were likely made from some instand powder and looked dried out on the outside. The sauce tasted like instant made too. I had chicken and ham and I guess these were microwaved too. To me it seems that there wasn’t a chef involved in the cooking process. At least none who has some pride in his or her job. It was a shocking experience and probably the worst food I’ve ever had. The staff didn’t seem to care much about that.

Good Afternoon, We are very disappointed that you did not enjoy your dinner with us. We appreciate all feedback, whether positive or negative. With regard to some of your comments I must advise that we do indeed have a qualified chef that prepares all of our food and he takes great pride in offering very high standard. Our vegetables and potatoes are locally sourced and are of the highest standard. We certainly do not use instant powder as mashed potatoes. With regard to the sauce, please note that our sauce is freshly made daily. We do take on board your feedback, and again, we are disappointed that you did not enjoy your visit with us. Thanking you and kindest regards, The Atlantic Hotel Team.

We stayed in February 2023 and it was amazing! We stayed in a double room and it was perfect. Very comfortable bed and very clean bathroom 🛁. Located in such a great place in Lahinch. Hairdryer, Tv in the room. Large makeup, dressing table. Will definitely be back!

The perfect location, friendliest staff, beautiful breakfast, lovely atmosphere in the bar/restaurant and spotlessly clean I can generally recommend The Atlantic Hotel. Room 35 however I would not return to. Probably an after thought for accommodation, the electric heater was warm when on but as I felt it was unsafe to leave a room with the electric heater running, I returned to a cold room each time though it heated in 10 minutes. The bath water ran cold for an evening bath so I attempted to fill it with the shower water which was tedious so I gave up. The carpet is stained and the wardrobe wobbles. The bed was clean and comfortable and I had a great sleep. My friends stayed in other rooms on the same night and their rooms were a world away from Room 35 in terms of heat, clean carpet and warm water. The access door to the bedrooms from the car park was unfortunately locked every time I tried it, so I had to walk through the bar/ restaurant several times with my luggage which felt uncomfortable. I would return to The Atlantic Hotel and request any room bar 35.

Friendly and cozy hotel close to the Cliffs of Moher but also in one of the most beautiful seaside locations. Excellent breakfast in the morning and dinner service at night. On a rainy, cold night, it was grand to have a cocktail by the fire and enjoy the company of locals who frequent the dining rooms. Everyone was friendly and treated you like family. As my travel companion was sick, they gave us another empty room beside each other so we could both get a good night's sleep. The hotel is across from two other eating and drinking establishments. Great location.

This hotel says a family loves every inch of the property and keeps it up for the guests. Whether ringing a taxi, preparing eggs on special request at breakfast, or offering to carry luggage upstairs, they leave no detail unattended. Their cleaning goes beyond a quick dusting; they polish baseboards! Furniture has character, and every room is different. That said, rooms are European-small. A "double" means one double bed, and the commode in our room was ready for replacement. In a world of modern decor, this hotel is worth a visit. It could be called "cozy elegance."

The Atlantic Hotel offers an old charm that is much welcomed in these modern times. The food is always amazing, especially the breakfast, the brown bread is another level!!! The attention to detail by all the staff is second to none and we look forward to our next visit.

Just had a most wonderful family breakfast feast. Service was fantastic and friendly, pot of coffee instead of just a mug, childrens' variety options and food preferences accommodated without a problem, and all very reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend The Atlantic for food at any time of day. They also accommodated us eating outdoors with our little dog.

We stayed recently in the Atlantic Hotel. Top class in all areas. Secure parking at the rear. Friendly staff at check in. Nice quiet room. Great dinner in the bar and one of the best breakfasts I've had, exactly what I ordered and really nicely presented by experienced friendly staff. We would recommend and would stay again. 10/10
