Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Don't listen to the negative reviews about this great wee place. It is a warm, comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Great location and staff are very helpful. I had a 12 inch pizza and bottle of Peroni for approximately £10 as residents get 50% off food in the Italian restaurant below. Highly recommended

I was very happy with this place,
Rooms were nice and clean and had everything needed for a good stay.
Doesn't do breakfast but offers a 50% discount on the very good Italian restaurant downstairs for Dinner so I was well happy.
In the centre or buncranna so everything was easily accessible.
Parking available on street for a small charge.

This is our second stay here this year, fabulous place to stay, friendly and warm welcome both times.
Nothing is too much trouble, Darius the first time and Hamid this visit.
Food in the restaurant is freshly cooked and tastes amazing. We plan to return soon, with friends

Can't rate this highly enough, hosts so hospitable, Buncrana so amazing, views truly stunning. Can't wait to go back, everyone so friendly even awful weather and still one of the best holidays ever. Will definitely go back so much to see Buncrana itself is so beautiful, just get on the road and round every turn some truly awe inspiring views.

My wife stayed here for one night in July.
We found it without any problem as it is on the main street.
Our room was spotless and had sat. TV ,fridge and tea and coffee making facility. Was en-suite.
Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. (As were all the people we meet in Buncrana.)
Breakfast was lovely and filling. Vegetarian for myself and sausages, bacon and egg for my wife.along with filter coffee and toast.
Parking is in the street at a cost of 50 cents an hour, free on Sundays and bank holidays. Our hosts were willing to put a ticket on our car so we could have a lay in.
Being on the main Street there are bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Within walking distance to all the delights Buncrana has to offer.
We would highly recommend town clock b&b. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Lovely stay here, not luxurious but just enough to make for a comfortable one night stop over. Friendly and welcoming. We arrived on good Friday which unknown to us meant no pubs or restaurants were open but the owner kindly phoned around and found an Indian restaurant that was open. Very handy to all shops, bars, restaurants as is in the town. Dont be put off by the outside of it, as they say "dont judge a book by its cover". Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at the Town Clock twice now and will definitely be returning. The owners, Hilary and Margaret, couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The rooms are lovely with everything you need and the breakfast was the best we've had - huge portions to set you up for the day. The B&B is in the heart of Buncrana so plenty within walking to do and only a short drive from Derry for some shopping. We will be returning soon!

We stayed in the Town Clock B&B for two nights this past weekend on a short trip to Donegal. The owners, Hilary and Margaret are just lovely people, genuinely friendly, helpful and they run a great B&B. The room with en suite bathroom was very spacious and very clean, with a huge comfortable bed and TV with all the channels you'd want. Our room was at the back, room 11, which looked out over Lough Swilly. It was also quiet, considering we were in the centre of Buncrana. Being centrally located, there were some very good restaurants all a short walk from the B&B, one just across the road. Some nice relaxed pubs too. You can walk to the shore of Lough Swilly in less than five minutes. I would highly recommend the Town Clock B&B. Oh, I nearly forgot the amazingly, fantastic full Irish breakfast served up in the morning. It kept us going all day. Great rashers!
