Just got back from a 2 night stay at the Town Clock. Location wise it is perfect as it right on Main Street which means easy access to the coastal path if you fancy a coastal walk or 2. The Main Street in Buncrana is full of great bars to visit - far too many to mention - just come out of the entrance to the B&B and head either right or left no problem. We were brilliant looked after by Margaret during our 2 days - a great example of a perfect host, nothing was too much trouble. For breakfast my friend and me both opted for the Full Irish which was expertly freshly cooked by Margaret's husband. Very tasty and perfect for setting you up for the day. I had a double room to myself - the bed was very comfortable and the shower/bathroom was of a very high standard in terms of fixtures and fittings. Just as importantly the shower was nice and powerful. When I next return to Buncrana I'll definitely like to stay there again.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights starting on the 15th of august and when we arrived we were greeted by Hillary the owner who made us feel very welcome. After showing us to our beautiful room he then asked about our breakfast order and what time we would like it served. The en suite was bigger than most and the shower is definitely worth a mention as it was so spacious and powerful. When we went down for breakfast we were met by Hillary and his lovely wife who invited us to help ourselves to cereals, yoghurt and fruit. We were served tea/coffee and toast within a few minutes and a full Irish breakfast followed again within a few minutes which was delicious on warm plates and again more toast. Will definitely stay again when in buncrana and would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Another fantastic stay at The Town Clock. Buncrana is brilliant with its places to eat and drink. Inishowen is brilliant with its walks, its golf courses, its history and its scenery. The Town Clock is better than brilliant! Our room, Room 11, was large and clean and comfortable and had superb views over Lough Swilly to Rathmullan and beyond. The hotel is situated conveniently in the town. The hosts are the most friendly and helpful you will find and Hilary's Big Joe breakfast keeps you fed for the day. Brilliant.

Overnight stay when attending an event in Buncrana, this is a great B&B and really friendly people, and very clean and comfortable room, right in center of the town. The breakfast next morning was really good and plenty of it!! Would recommend and will be there again.

This is an odd review in that I did not actually get to stay in the end - However, it was a most positive experience with the lovely lady that runs it. I booked for 7th July online. I thought this was Saturday and was on my way somewhere on Friday when I received a call from The Town Clock to ask what time I would be checking in. Obviously I was mortified as I had muddled dates and was now unable to book in as I was some distance away. I offered to pay and the lovely lady not only waived this but was also so lovely and offered to see if she could get a room for the Saturday. I will definitely book there again because of how lovely and hospitable they were over my mistake. Thank you so much!

We try to visit Buncrana at least twice a year Would not think of staying anywhere else-we are so well looked after, the accommodation is immaculate, the room we were in had also been upgraded, the food is excellent and the hosts cannot do enough for you This time I have to say the locals are so friendly(especially in Grants Bar- music first class) I cannot recommend this place highly enough-well done

All I can say is that phase "never judge a book by its cover" well this is exactly what I would say about this little gem, as we pulled up I was kinda like that looks like a shop, at the door we were greeting with the warmest of welcomes and we were treated so well from the moment we walked through the doors, once inside and shown to our room it was like entering the Tardis, it was a surprise, our room was fresh, spotlessly clean and I can't say anything bad at all about the rooms, the b&b was quiet all night and no issues with coming in after a night in the town, the next morning we were sat down in a great little dining room and serve one amazing homemade irish breakfast, and we were never felt like we where getting pushed out, like in some hotels, my advice is do not overlook this wee gem, for the price not even the hotels in this area can match this wee spot, amazing if we are back will stay here again, thank you for the welcome and the great night we stayed with you
