Myself, my partner and my 3 year old daughter had a night at the Innishowen Gateway, as we didn't know the Leisure centre was opened, we didn't bring any swim gear with us. The staff at the leisure centre where soo helpful and directed us on where to go to buy some so that we didn't miss out! We ate in the bar that evening and I have to say it was all beautiful! Breakfast was just as nice the next morning! I often stay at this hotel but was a bit anxious because of the current pandemic but I have to say, it is well organised and set up for a safe stay!! We will def be back over the summer again!!

Booked the girls night in as our first trip since lockdown ended. From the Prosecco and snacks in our room, four course dinner with cocktails and breakfast, everything was perfect. We had the best catch up. Staff were fantastic- they had only been open for a few days and did a great job. The hotel itself is excellent value for money. Cannot fault it in any way.

Stayed at the wonderful Inishowen Gateway Buncrana this weekend and couldn’t fault it in anyway. Due to COVID we had to wait over a year to be back to my favourite place and it was well worth it. Restrictions and procedures were strictly adhered to making us feel safe and comfortable , the staff were extremely diligent and as always helpful while going above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay . As you can see from the photograph this is the view from the bed I had as I woke up and what an awesome sight it is . This is just one of the reasons that compels me to keep going back . Of all the hotels that I’ve been lucky enough to stay in this one wins hands done because of their amazing staff , they greet you like a friend the minute you arrive and treat you throughout your visit like a family member . I’m unable to mention everyone across all of their teams but I must thank Mairead and Jolene in reception, Kathleen and Lorraine from housekeeping and Patricia and Ashline from hospitality. Always look forward to seeing all of them as they do their jobs in a professional, dedicated and happy manner . I appreciate each and every member of the staff for everything they do while I can relax and admire the beautiful views knowing they are working tirelessly to help me have a wonderful experience. The management of this fantastic establishment are privileged to have such an amazing team that keep the Gateway to be the best hotel in this stunning location. 👏👏👏👏

We arrived at hotel 2nd June a wee bit weary of visiting during covid restrictions however everything was running like clockwork and we immediately felt safe and extremely welcome. Staff were delighted to get back to work and couldn’t have been more pleasant or helpful. The hotel was spotless clean and we felt comfortable in our surroundings immediately. Bar service, dinner and breakfast run smoothly and safely. Our first visit to hotel and will definitely return. Hotel is short walk from lovely stretch of beach.

Disappointing. I had to request a sea view room even though it was offered in the package. Rooms decor had not changed since I was last there decade's ago. Sea view was over a large flat roof and grey building beside it. Room was cold despite turning up the heat settings. Fresh fruit was provided in the package but nothing to eat it with. I'll be with you in a minute, was a common phrase from staff as you then stood around waiting- would hate to see the wait if they where really busy. Outside drinks area was noisy and odours from the kitchen penetrator. Bar waiting staff need some serious training. Waited ten minutes for an order to be taken five staff and about 15 people in the area.. On the up side as it was not at full capacity the pool was very quite so that was good to relax in. They had a good service for breakfast where you could pick exactly what portion size you required and the staff did the serving from the hot plates in front of you. Cleaning staff and pool staff were very chatty and friendly.
