Stunning location, we were at a wedding nearby and stayed for the weekend, the lady let us check in early, had homemade scones on arrival. Beautiful cottages with stunning views and such a friendly place. Couldnt ask for more

Another wonderful stay at Abhainn Ri. Getting up each morning to find out how many new lambs had been born was the best part of our visit. Exploring the farm and skipping stones on the lake was a highlight for the boys. Another great visit.

Fabulous setting, friendly hosts and amazing baked goods! Abhainn Ri was the perfect spot for a girlie weekend away. Close to Glendalough for a nice long walk before returning for a slap up meal at the farmhouse. Highly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic cottages with beautiful views. Extremely comfortable, clean and well stocked. Scones on arrival were a big hit as was the barn with swings and slide for the children and the weather! The weather was pretty miserable during our stay but it did not take away from our enjoyment in any way as the cottages were so cosy. The walk...

We had a wonderful time and our hosts were keen and helpful. There is a separate lounge for guests which is wonderfully-appointed. The whole house was lovely and warm, which was great...

Some friends and I have rented one of their super cottages several times now. We continue to be impressed by the high standards of cleanliness and comfort. The breakfasts in the owners' nearby guest house are also highly recommended!

The views from this B&B were so tranquil. We were offered some nice tea and chocolates during our stay in a side room, which was very relaxing. However, it should be noted any other food brought to the B&B has to be eaten outside. The nearest picnic table was by the chickens. We stayed in the main house on the...

“We were unaware that the cottage we had booked (No 1) was specially adapted for wheelchair use and therefore the ensuite bathroom downstairs had only a low level basin which was too low and tiny for a wet shave. There are 2 upstairs ensuite bathrooms however, so we shared those. ”
