We stayed overnight last weekend on a very cold night.
We were welcomed to a beautiful warm house with a Hugh bedroom
The house is spotless. The couple are lovely and offered tea or coffee on arrival which I chose not to avail of. We explained that we were attending a function in Bandon, immediately the lady said she would drop us in when it suited us. While the house is a few miles out of the town the lift was very much appreciated & the return taxi was only €10. The bed was very comfortable with tea & coffee making facilities and a bottle of water left on the bedside locker. The breakfast was excellent with a lovely selection of cereals fresh fruit yogurt & the lovely cooked breakfast. Good value, lovely couple. Beats a lot of hotels that are on offer.

On arrival at this lovely looking house, we were warmly greeted by the hosts and offered tea and warm pudding - which we would normally accept with glee but we were going to a local chinese restaurant, so thought we'd better leave room!
The room was lovely, really homely and cosy with a modern, clean bathroom.
A really good night's sleep on a comfy bed then tasty breakfast of home made pancakes, rashers and maple syrup, delicious!
Will always go here now, when in Bandon!

Beautiful house and a lovely welcome with tea and apple pie! We had a large room with a super view over fields. Comfy bed and great en suite. Super hosts. We were overawed by kindness when Dolores drove ahead of us to show the way to a local restaurant. Dolores also drew us a map to get to the P + R in Cork City. Mark and Dolores were great hosts. We had great breakfasts in a lovely setting . Hope to return.

We had a great one night stay in Laurel House last month . My daughter and I had two very comfortable and spacious rooms with really comfy beds. The breakfast was really nice with great homemade bread and a freshly cooked fry.

Had a lovely 1 night stay recently with Dolores & Mark in their lovely home and B+B Laurel House.. Such a comfortable bed - 1 of the most comfortable ever, great night's sleep. Laurel House is located on the Dunmanway Road couple of miles outside Bandon Town. Mark provided great directions by email, which were spot on even on a rainy night in unfamiliar area!
Nice big room too, with great shower & cable TV. The fresh milk & ground coffee with plunger pot was a really nice touch on the tea tray (especially for a coffee addict like myself!).
The breakfast next morning was outstanding in a beautifully appointed dining room, another big pot of strong coffee with freshly cooked breakfast, using several local ingredients! Namely, the bacon, sausages & yogurts were really good. Nice selection of fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts & homemade brown bread.. Only negative was I could only stay the 1 night, but I will definitely return...
Very charming and welcoming hosts - could not have been more helpful with information and sorting out TV at 11pm (due to my lack of technical ability - I should add!)... Great priced - fantastic value for a 5***** experience... (-: (-:

Mark and Delores are terrific hosts. They have a beautiful home with extremely comfortable rooms. Lots of fun to visit with. Full Irish breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip.
Mark is quite the musician (guitar) and he has a rich and melodious voice.
Would highly recommend this impeccable location.

We had a great two night stay recently. Mark was very welcoming and helpful even booking a great restaurant for us (Poachers) and driving down to show us the way!! The room we had was huge and had everything you could possibly need including straighteners - a first! Lovely big shower and everything you could need. Great breakfast and they catered well for my dietary requirements.

Last year my mom came to visit and we decided to drive around Ireland. When we made it to cork, time flew by and we got caught in Kinsale. We tried to get accomodation there but it was completely packed. After calling every single hotel and b&b around and keep getting the same answer, I started to panic. Thankfully my boyfriend found Laurel House online, and we were saved. By the time we got there it was almost 11 but we were welcomed with open arms. The house was gorgeous and the rooms were massive, with all you would need after a long day and spotlessly clean.
Next morning, we were all rested and greatful for the lovely place we had found. The amazing experience didn't end there though, breakfast was absolutely out of this world, best b&b breakfast I've ever had! In conclusion, a fantastic place to stay! Can't wait to get lost in Cork again to have the perfect excuse to come back to Laurel House.

I stayed here for several nights on a work trip in July. Dolores made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived with a lovely pot of tea and fresh local bread and jam awaiting me. The room I had for my duration was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was tasty too. Absolutely loved my stay here and cannot mention Dolores highly enough. Looking forward to staying here again and hopefully not on a business trip. The b and b is perfectly located for travelling around West Cork and I managed to make make a trip to Clonakilty which is a must visit town.
