As you can see from the photos, the place is well taken care off. The reception looked classy and the place looks airy and spacious. Our hosts David & Noreen we're very nice people. David especially was very friendly and chatty. He made sure that we had everything we need, made sure our room's heating was working well. Our room...

We stayed one night in the tides,on a night away after St. Patricks for a little chill out and recharge. It was just what we needed. Lovely cosy b&b. It had everything we wanted, was so comfortable it's like a boutique hotel. David (the owner) was friendly, recommending pubs and places to eat, without being too intrusive. Location is great, could definitely...

I think you can't find another place to stay like Tides in Ireland. We have stayed some times and our experience have been excellent. Owners are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are lovely and very spacious. The breakfast is spectacular.

We arrived without reservations during a family vacation...my two cousins, their 98 year young father and me. David Walsh welcomed us with open arms, had rooms available for us and made us very comfortable. The B&B itself is splendid, light and comfortable - a special place. The following morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, friendly conversation about golf, Ballybunion and...

Stayed here one night to play Ballybunion which is an experience in itself. This is the best b& b we have stayed at. The room was very comfortable with all the mod cons and was spotless with a comfy bed. The host David is a golf nut and he went out of his way to help and also entertain us...

The Tides is deserving of its high rating. The entire facility is beautiful with large bright bedrooms and modern fully equipped bathrooms. The breakfast room is likewise delightful and Doreen makes delicious crepes. The location is just outside town and a 5-10 minute drive to the golf course. David is a great host and conversationalist about the local golf history....

Great place to stay just outside the village center of Ballybunion. Very friendly. Very comfortable facilities. Only problem... did not accept credit cards, a fact which was not revealed at the time the reservations were made. Result? The cost was a little higher with a worse exchange rate than with credit card.

Stayed at the Tides at the end of August - David and Doreen were so accomodating. They were ready for our late arrival and had excellent suggestion for dinner out. Just down the road by the Golf Course. Beautiful and updated B&B, with a gorgeous breakfast room. The views were breathtaking. We'll be back! Pattyanne Boston, MA.

Our family of five stayed at The Tides earlier this summer and absolutely loved it. We were there for a short time, but the owners made us feel extremely welcomed and even gave us special access to get into the breakfast room for coffee/food before they typically opened so we could grab a bite before we headed to the airport...

3 of us stayed here for a week in August and had a great break. Our room was very large, spotlessly clean and had all the usual things you expect plus a few extras like wine cooler and plug sockets that you can connect USB's directly into. David is a natural host and enjoys entertaining guests with his stories and...
