My wife and I are on a golf tour of Ireland. I hope my back holds out. Stayed with Mary and James last night. The friendliest, most welcoming people you can imagine. The Lodge is great. Nice, clean and modern but with some Irish charm. Nice room with modern bath. I haven't seen water pressure in a shower in the...

Wonderful place to stay. The room was spotless and it also had beautiful views! James and Mary are excellent hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. Not only this, they also cook up a mean breakfast!! Highly recommended.

This was our 5th stay with Mary and James! Rooms are clean and beautiful and shower pressure is the best! Mary makes our tee times at the Old Course, suggests restaurants for dinners and makes your breakfast to order. They are warm and really make you feel like it's your home. Lovely people, great rooms and so close to the...

Had a lovely couple of days. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. Very accommodating hosts and an awesome breakfast. Excellent location near the golf course. We went on a golf trip and we couldn't have a chosen a better spot for our trip.

I don't know where to start. I could go on about the room, facilities etc (which were all fantastic) but the real stars of this review are the owners,James and Mary! What a pair! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, they were amazing, so friendly and chatty. They made us feel so comfortable and it was...

Very pleasant stay. Rooms very clean and comfortable all mod cons. Lovely home cooked breakfasts. Excellent views of Ballybunion Golf Course just across the road. Unfortunately the Golf Club do not allow non members to play at weekends which is not helpful for Mary and James who run the 19th Lodge. We could take a lovely walk along Ballybunion beach.

James and Mary make this place something special, warm greeting at the door, immaculately clean, roomy double bed rooms with nice bathroom. In the morning on your time Mary prepares the best breakfast, a must if your playing Ballybunion. Picture is a view out the front door

As was the case with my first four stays with Mary and James, I could not have been more pleased. Every time I stay here is truly like visiting favorite relatives and is a highlight of every trip to Ireland. I come to play golf every April and everywhere I go I am treated well, but I feel at home...
