Playing golf in Ballybunion Old Course, stayed in Teach de Broc, located opposite gate of Golf Club, room was comfortable, shower had power and great towels. Food was the fantastic, both Dinner and Breakfast. Service was beyond great, they were so accommodating, nothing was a problem and no dramatics. Glad we stayed. We'll be back. Five stars.
A true highlight of my recent week in Ireland! Aoife, Dermot, and Cian treated us like family during our 2 night stay. The accommodations were well very appointed and comfortable, with attention to each and every detail. The meals (both breakfast and dinner) were scrumptious and served with delightful repartee. Both Dermot and Cian have a splendid gift of humor and hospitality. i think my favorite memory was the impromptu music session with Dermot on piano and guitar. Thankfully he had a right hand guitar which i was able to pick up and join in the fun. Teach de Broc is truly a gem on the Emerald Isle and it is my hope to one day return for more of their punctilious hospitality!
This was the best property we stayed at on a recent golf buddies trip to Ireland. We also stayed in Kinsale, Killarney and Lahinch but Teach de Broc was by far #1 on our list of hotels. The rooms were clean and neat, the food was exquisite and the staff was over the top, especially Dermot who set up covid tests for us so we could travel back to the states two days later, who does that. If you’re in the area this is where you have to stay.
We were 4 men for a golf trip, including Ballybunion which is directly across the street. this is the second time i have stayed here, and i love it. The owners, the Broc family are terrific hosts, and we had a great time, including singing with the piano player into the night!! Try it, you will love it!!
Happy to give this 5 stars as they absolutely deserve it. Food was incredible, we all had different starters, mains and sides and literally all were delicious. Service was superb without being overbearing and atmosphere really pleasant, was genuinely very impressed. No complaints at all.
Second year in a row in Teach De Broc and yet again it was brilliant. The entire set up makes our golfing trip each year thoroughly enjoyable. Fantastic location in relation to the golf courses. Yet again the food and service was perfect. Couldn't fault our stay again this year.
Excellent hotel and really enjoyed our stay. We played golf in both Ballybunion course and hotel is just across the road from the club house. The driving range is next to the hotel. Perfect location for golfing. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. The restaurant was the big surprise. The food was superb and with large portions. Even if you do not stay here you should book a visit to the restaurant. I would recommend the Thai soup, crab claws, rack of lamb, lemon sole, steaks. I would recommend staying here and looking to coming back in the autumn. The breakfast was also great with a good choice.
We stayed here for two nights with golf included. The hotel is excellent. Large room, excellent breakfast and right beside Ballybunion golf club. The food was particularly good for dinner and breakfast. Would happily stay again. Ideal for golfers.
A wonderful welcome awaits you despite the awful pandemic. I felt particularly safe in this establishment as all restrictions adhered to in a safe and timely manner. Our meal was second to none and particularly enjoyed the chicken and fish dishes. We then retired to the most comfortable rooms which were equipped to 5 star + standard . Highly recommended.
Group of eight of us stayed a couple of nights in Teach de Broc in August on a golf staycation. The hotel is on the doorstep of Bally-bunion Golf club so was super convenient for our 3 days of golf in Kerry. Service was top drawer. Very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were decent size, nice and clean. The show stopper was the food however. Could not get over the quality of the dinner. The food was fine dining standard and every course was so delicious. The whole group who are into their food were blown away. Even the porridge at breakfast was the nicest i have ever had with the Irish mist and baileys. Highly recommend this hotel/restaurant. We will be back.
