Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Hi Aoife
Just a note to say many thanks to you and your team for a fabulous few days in Ballybunion.
We felt so comfortable and safe in your hotel which was spotless. Covid precautions were carried out 100% with sanitization , mask wearing etc. The food was freshly prepared and excellent.
Chrissie served our table many times and was super. Lovely to chat with and seemed so happy in her job.
We enjoyed great chats with Dermot also, certainly a man of many talents who entertained us on the piano one of the evenings.
We will certainly recommend Teach De Broc to our pals and look forward to visiting again.
With Best Wishes
Barbara and Tom O'Connell

We have stayed at Teach de Broc a number of times, and it has never disappointed. The rooms are spacious and well presented, the restaurant provides excellent meals, and we enjoy sitting in the lounge at the end of the day, unwinding. The walk over to the beach is just lovely. And of course the family and other staff are so welcoming. Thank you and we look forward to staying with you again.

A true highlight of my recent week in Ireland! Aoife, Dermot, and Cian treated us like family during our 2 night stay. The accommodations were well very appointed and comfortable, with attention to each and every detail. The meals (both breakfast and dinner) were scrumptious and served with delightful repartee. Both Dermot and Cian have a splendid gift of humor and hospitality. i think my favorite memory was the impromptu music session with Dermot on piano and guitar. Thankfully he had a right hand guitar which i was able to pick up and join in the fun. Teach de Broc is truly a gem on the Emerald Isle and it is my hope to one day return for more of their punctilious hospitality!

Aoife and Seamus run a five star property with a genuine fantastic warm service the way Ireland should be. The attention to detail from the welcome from Dermot at reception to the quality of the bedroom was exceptional: breakfast and dinner were superb and the proximity to Ballybunion and Tralee are fantastic. To wake up with a practice range across the road was heaven. Great Guinness too. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this property.

A wonderful welcome awaits you despite the awful pandemic. I felt particularly safe in this establishment as all restrictions adhered to in a safe and timely manner. Our meal was second to none and particularly enjoyed the chicken and fish dishes. We then retired to the most comfortable rooms which were equipped to 5 star + standard . Highly recommended.

Friend of mine and I recently completed a 5 day golf trip to Ireland and our last two nights were spent at Teach de Broc and dinner at Strollers. Hotel is spotless and while it has been in business a number of years it appears to be brand new at the level of maintenance is exceptional. the rooms are great and shower facility was great after walking 18 holes back to back days.

We ate both nights at their restaurant and can only say I wish I could do so far more often. First night dover sole cooked to perfection and second night rack of lamb done equally as well. Sides were great and breakfast was a great way to start the day.

Service and reception is outstanding Can not recommend it enough and will return.

We were 4 men for a golf trip, including Ballybunion which is directly across the street. this is the second time i have stayed here, and i love it. The owners, the Broc family are terrific hosts, and we had a great time, including singing with the piano player into the night!! Try it, you will love it!!

Happy to give this 5 stars as they absolutely deserve it. Food was incredible, we all had different starters, mains and sides and literally all were delicious. Service was superb without being overbearing and atmosphere really pleasant, was genuinely very impressed. No complaints at all.

Playing golf in Ballybunion Old Course, stayed in Teach de Broc, located opposite gate of Golf Club, room was comfortable, shower had power and great towels. Food was the fantastic, both Dinner and Breakfast. Service was beyond great, they were so accommodating, nothing was a problem and no dramatics. Glad we stayed. We'll be back. Five stars.

Just an absolute pleasure to stay here when coming to Ballybunion. Proximity to the course is a major plus but the hotel stands on it’s own. Rooms are a nice size and nicely appointed. The breakfast was excellent and although I didn’t eat dinner in the restaurant this time, it is usually top notch as well. The service is also excellent. Very friendly and very helpful! If you come to play golf at Ballybunion, you need to stay here.
