Our room was clean and comfortable but unfortunately the shower wasn't working properly with only a drizzle of water flowing and the hot water took over 5 minutes to flow. Not enough water to wash my hair. Breakfast was in a lovely room overlooking the countryside however the cooked breakfast was tough and unappealing. There was no fruit on offer...

I was fortunate to be able to travel back for second time this year and stay at Innisfree. It is wonderful to arrive at Shannon Airport and within 10 min of getting my rental car be at Mel's B&B. As always, I appreciate not having to carry my luggage upstairs as all of the ensuite rooms are on the first...

We stayed here on our last night in Ireland before flying out of Shannon airport. We loved it! This is definitely on the return-to list. I highly recommend it! Mel McCarthy is a lovely person. This place feels like home! Bunratty Castle is just a bit down the road which is a perfect end to a gorgeous trip!

Can not say enough about our wonderful stay at this unbelievable B&B. Three times are the charm! Each time it gets better! The warm and friendly atmosphere along with the homey and "country chic" ambiance is without equal. One can not help falling in love with the host of this delightful Inn. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her!...

We booked Innisfree for two nights with the idea to have one night spend for the Bunratty Banquette and one night spend in town. In fact one night should be enough because next to the castel & folk park there is not much else. The B&B had a quit old-fashioned look but the owners were very friendly and the breakfast...

Innisfree B&B is a gorgeous property just down the road from one of Ireland's top attractions, Bunratty Castle. Mel is a delightful host serving a great breakfast. The breakfast room is situated so that you have a full view of the stunning landscape. Our room was clean and bright with the same view of the countryside and her lovely manicured...

We booked this B&B the day of stay. The owner was so friendly and had no problem squeezing us in. The room we used was spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast provisions and the cooked breakfast looked good although we didn't have that. The B&B Was close to Bunratty Castle where we enjoyed the medieval banquet dinner.

Wonderful gem close to Bunratty Castle and town. Rooms were clean and comfy and were greeted by warm and hospitable owner in the morning. Breakfast had many options to choose from and taste was even better. Close to Bunratty Castle and Mead Winery. B&B was busy but we were able to enjoy our stay.

We have stayed at Innisfree many times in the past. We have always enjoyed our stay with the hostess, Mel. Our visits start with a warm welcome. After dealing with the airlines and then the rental car company, it is nice to be warmly welcomed, shown to our room. All of the rooms are on the first floor which is...

“It's close enough to Bunratty castle - It's about 25 to 30 min walk on a very quiet road. So if you are going to the Castle banquet it's a great location to stay.”
