Stayed our last night in Ireland. The host and her family were wonderful as was the room and breakfast. Room was very large and clean. The B&B is less than fifteen minutes drive to the Shannon Airport rental car return. Only five minutes down the road from Bunratty Castle and Durty Nellies and main highway exit. Saw some folks even...

We stayed here on our last night in Ireland. Beautiful, comfortable and homey. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. We showed up without calling ahead and we were more than welcomed. She told us what time we should have breakfast so we could leave and arrive at the airport on time. Just up the road from Bunratty Castle which...

Right up the road from the castle. We were the only ones there on the night we stayed. Told Mel that 815 breakfast would be fine, but found out our flight was moved up and she accommodated us beautifully. Breakfast was great and room was comfortable. Would stay again if in the area.

Our room was exceptional. It was clean, spacious & lovely. Our breakfast was delicious & plentiful. The location was PERFECT for getting to the airport quickly & easily. We also had the opportunity to have breakfast earlier to accommodate our flight. Hated to leave!

Mel and Denis were super gracious hosts. We stayed in Ireland for a week and this was our nicest B&B and also one of the most inexpensive ones. The rooms and floor were very clean. (Mel) - She was kind and friendly without being intrusive. She was helpful with directions. The breakfast was fantastic. The location is excellent as well...

This is a lovely B and B inside and out! It is tastefully decorated and the gardens are so pretty! We walked to Bunratty down a nice lane. Our hosts were accommodating, as we were flying out the next morning so we had a bag breakfast delivered at our door as we left at 6! It's very close to the...

While the host was most welcoming, the two rooms that we had for our stay showed great need of updating. The shower in our room was very temperamental - it was either ice cold or so hot that you couldn't stand to be in it. The breakfast provided by Mel was standard fare. Of all the B&B's that we stayed...

Mel offers a warm welcome upon arrival. We stay with her upon arrival and prior to leaving the country - Shannon Airport is about 10 min. Her home is very close to The Bunratty Folk Park and Castle. Central location for Limerick, Burren, Ennis and Doolin. Her beds are comfortable and the showers with space for your health and beauty...

“It's close enough to Bunratty castle - It's about 25 to 30 min walk on a very quiet road. So if you are going to the Castle banquet it's a great location to stay.”

“You need a car. I initially thought it a close walk to the castle, but a quick drive best describes it. NOTE: this accom requires payment in cash (Euros!). No eftpos facilities.”
