This was our first trip ever to Ireland and Sinead and Shane were the first to welcome us with lovely hospitality and accommodations. The room was very comfortable and the full breakfast was amazing. We are grateful for your care and will certainly continue to recommend.

We had a great stay here. Hosts could not have been kinder or nicer. Very helpful. Rooms were spacious. Appreciated the large, thick towels. Breakfast was wonderful. Outstanding value. Can’t be beat! Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again someday.

I am not normally one to leave reviews but for the hospitality we received at Parkhouse I felt compelled to do so. My family and I stayed at Parkhouse B&B for 1 night during a recent (April 2022) holiday around Ireland. We stayed in 10 different B&Bs, hotels and hostels during our holiday and I can wholeheartedly say that Parkhouse B&B was by far and away the most comfortable and most inviting place we stayed during our trip. Travelling with young (and often fussy) children can be difficult at the best of times but Sinead was incredibly patient and hospitable. The house and rooms are spotlessly clean, very well presented and very comfortable. The house is situated less than 1 mile from Bunratty castle and is an ideal place to stay if you visiting the castle or exploring the surrounding area. The breakfast was simply amazing with sufficient choice for even the fussiest children and we had the best breakfast of our entire holiday at Parkhouse. The full Irish breakfast in particular deserves a special mention. Sinead was very attentive and couldn't do enough for us to ensure we were well fed for the day ahead. If I was travelling to the Bunratty area again I would definitely stay at Parkhouse and I will definitely be recommending it to freinds and family who visit the area.

We had a one night stop en route to Galway and chose Parkhouse given the reviews and we were so pleased we did. Sinead was efficient and friendly from checkin to checkout. The room was impeccable and clean with all the amenities one might need with a kettle for coffee and tea. Wifi was a bit spotty - we struggled with connecting throughout our stay - but we were on holiday so being off grid was not an issue. Breakfast was served in a bright dining room with a nice assortment of breads/cake and your choice of a hot Irish breakfast. We were thankful for GPS or we would not have found this place - even then, we thought we were headed to the Bunratty Castle parking initially and turned back when it was the correct road. You definitely need a car to get here and explore! Highly recommended.

Sinead and Shane were great hosts. The house was immaculately clean and they could not have been more inviting. Great location, walkable to all things Bunratty. Breakfast was excellent. If you’re looking to get out of the city, for some nice quiet time, go here. Beautiful. Thanks.

We had a great family stay here. It’s not easy to get a room for 5, so we appreciate being accommodated. They added a small bed to the room for us. Breakfast was delicious. You order the night before. Everything was spotless. Owners were helpful with dinner recommendations too.

The B&B is run as a business and therefore attention to detail is good. Shane is a former chef so breakfast is the best and attention is paid to presentation ... roll on Master Chef. Occasionally very busy but for good reason. The room was comfortable although work lighting was poor and was improved by bringing over a bedside light. Wifi worked well. The en suite bathroom was good. The view out the back was rural and it was very quiet. Good parking for guests.

I would like to say that the hosts are amazing first of all. Shane checked us in and it was so easy. He gave us the best places to visit for food and drink and also gave us the timeline of what was happening with the castle. We had amazing night and went back to a beautiful house and the room was just perfect. We woke on our first morning to breakfast and all I can say is wow. Such a Great choice for breakfast and whatever you decide it will just taste delicious. Such a personal experience and so much better than a hotel. We had an amazing weekend and I would love to thank Sinead and Shane for an amazing experience and such a warm and cosy stay. We will definitely be back. Thanks Mark Tutty

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful in every way. The host upgraded us to a larger room that was very comfortable and extremely clean. Free parking was easily accessible. Very close to the Bunratty Folk Park and the 2 restaurants nearby. We had the bonus next morning of being served a breakfast by a real chef (the husband) and that was the best breakfast of all the places we stayed in Ireland. Bon appetite!
