Was very disappointed to find that we could no longer travel on the dates we booked. We gave plenty of notice of the cancellation. On line cancellation via the booking site was easy but there was no follow by the hotel to say that the requested cancellation had been received / processed / acknowledged. We had to email the hotel...

We totally enjoyed our stay at Bunratty Castle hotel. It reminded us of a manor house. The hotel was decorated tastefully and was very clean. We were delighted with our suite. The hotel was walking distance to the Bunratty Castle and The Creamery restaurant. We had easy access to the highway to Shannon Airport. The front desk staff were very...

Very pretty building & lobby. Loved all the dark, shiny, hardwood floors. There are elevators but they were slow so we just used the stairs. Some of the hallways were like a maze. We were with a tour group so we didn't have to deal with the front desk. The room had the usual, microwave, coffee, hair dryer, extra pillows,...

I visited this Castle in a typical windy drizzling day in County Clare, so the dramatic backdrop of grey skies against the vibrant greens and colours of the gardens were fantastic. First stop was a drink in Durty Nellys then onto the exhibits. The interpretive map is really well thought out and functional. Each section is well preserved and very...

Right across the street from the castle. Spacious, clean, lovely breakfast, comfortable bed... At a very reasonable price... Take time to see the ok'd church and cemetery behind the hotel... Good example of Cromwell's efforts in the distant past...

Had a nice stay at this hotel. Room was very comfortable and clean. Food was good and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly but not as keen to help as in most other places I've stayed. Our stay was brief but without issue! Nice hotel with plenty of potential!

This hotel is tired, dirty and badly in need of repair. The rooms had cracked or missing tile, slimey worn carpets, old scratched and chipped furniture and damaged walls. While walking around the exterior we noticed laundry bins on a porch with sheets flowing out onto the banisters. The hotel was a mess inside and outside. It was not anything...

While checking in we stood at the counter for a good two minutes in front of two staff members deep in conversation without even getting acknowledged. When I suggested we could come back latter, we got served. Asked to upgrade our room , and got told, The room we are giving you will be quite sufficient for your needs.( I...

One of the best nights ever. Fab food. Professional service. Beautiful setting. Spacious rooms. A great party venue. With lots to do in the local area. Many thanks to managers Dave and Marguerite. Could not have been more attentive. I will be back.

Room was spacious, paint work was really badly scuffed, pictures were screwed crookedly to wall, toilet flush didn't work- spoke with a fellow guest, this was an issue in their room also. Jets in pool also broken, wall paper peeling from wall in bar. Hotel has great potential, it's in a lovely busy spot. Perhaps they don't have to try...
