Really appreciate the helpfulness and the courtesy of the staff, especially Ann and Jack! All the staff were very warm and welcoming and made if a very comfortable stay. Ambience was good with a good mixture of modern and old-fashioned comfort.

This hotel does not deserve 4 stars rooms are overpriced We were asked for payment in full on arrival ! Most unusual We had a Seaview room but could not sleep with traffic noise Moved to room at rear of property bed was too small and roo soft so asked to move again. Breakfast was very below being acceptable cold buffet consisted of packet of cheddar cheese and few slices of salami left on table Cooked breakfast terrible.Staff not trained uniforms dirty not ironed table cloths creased nobody asked how was everything. Would not recommend this hotel

Cute little hotel on the seaside. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Food was nothing special but still tasty. The staff were pleasant and very welcoming. Not much near the hotel but the town is small. Views of the sea is good except for being blocked by an amusement park. Great for a short visit to Tramore.

Ownership needs to work with management on addressing the shortfalls of this property. Elevator was down during stay so seniors on tour were required to lug hand carries and self up and down four half flights of stairs. Fortunately our tour operator managed the heavy luggage. The true disappointing issue was the front desk staff did not seem to care. Never asked how we, as guests, were doing. Never once apologized for the inconvenience for the elevator issue. Several of our group were truly hurt by this experience. The bathroom amenities lacked. Two shower caps but no shampoo or conditioner. Body wash to wash hair and one very small piece of soap. The tub was very slippery and the climb to get in for a shower treacherous. The dual faucet hot & cold without a mixing valve is not to standard. No wash clothes. No AC available for this property. Rooms were hot. Wi-Fi nonexistent. The housekeeping uses duvets on the beds - no top sheet. I did not ask but are the duvets changed and cleaned daily? The banquet food was poor to say the least. Given a choice I selected Prime Rib and when I told server medium rare the response was, “it is already cooked”. I told him if it was well done do not bring it and I will select something else. It was well done and no offering to adjust was made and even understood. Desert was a referred to as a “Strawberry Mess”. It was. Rancid whipped cream also. If the servers had been knowledgeable and equipped the hotel could have sold bottles of wine with dinner. They were not and lost potential revenue. The breakfast servers were very friendly and offered to assist in many ways. The product for breakfast was OK. Nothing over the top but good variety. Pulling the luggage in the morning, again without an elevator was an epic issue. Not the memory any hotel wants their guest to have. I would not recommend this hotel for any type of traveler.

The room was just fine. But the lift was inoperable and these fine fold were not smart enough to hire some help to carry luggage up for those who were spending the night. Then when it was not fixed by morning there was no one to assist again. The food was atrocious. Roast beef was over cooked. The Hake was dry and tasteless. At breakfast there was not enough food to serve the two your groups and apparently they did not want to offer more than on 4oz cup of coffee. No one ever asked “how was your stay” or said “I’m sorry”. I would neve suggest this place.

Just back from a two nights stay at the majestic hotel. The lovely lady Ann (e) checked us in with a present smile and a friendly face. . We made our way to our room and the views were fantastic. The beds are so comfy. We enjoyed food in the bar served by Paul who looked after us really well. (I'd recommend the burger and chips delicious. Later we had a few drinks in the bar served by Liam. I have to say this hotel is well worth a visit .the staff are super. Anne and Alice on reception don't just check you in they chat and make sure your ok at other times too. Well done all the staff keep up the great work. Be back soon. Thanks again majestic. Sandra and paul Browne.

Some family members had the most fantastic 3 nights Easter weekend in the hotel. The staff were super friendly and the room was exceptional and catered for a wheelchair user. The food and entertainment topped off the weekend. Thank you
