Stayed recently for 4 nights in our caravan. Campsite is in an excellent location, close to Tramore town and a short walk to the cliff path. Very well run campsite, spotlessly clean and well maintained and staff very friendly and helpful. Our first night was during storm Ellen and the manager couldn’t have been more helpful and safety conscious for all visitors. He was very hands on and available at all times of day and night to make visitors stays as enjoyable as possible. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning again in the future,
Well run and maintained campsite on the outskirts of tramore. Perfectly located to explore the surrounding areas. Have implemented covid regulations very well, with facilities regularly cleaned and social distancing well marked out. Well done. No noise after 10pm which is good to see enforced. Only one small thing that would make this place perfect would be if each pitch had their own drain and water tap, but overall this is a very well run site and we will gladly come back. Go raibh maith agat.
One of the best campsites we've visited in Ireland. We have been camping for about the last 6 / 7 years. Very well maintained, spotlessly clean. Full adherence to all Covid-19 Safety Protocols. We will book again.
Just back from 2 night stay with family, facilities were spotless and campsite is kept very well. Short drive to the town of Tramore and the beach. Newtown Cove is definitely worth a visit and a swim.
On our way home from a lovely visit to Tramore. We camped for 2 nights in our tent at this campsite. Good facilities, clean and very well attended, particularly the campers kitchen. Didn't like having to pay for showers. That would be quite an expense for a family if staying more than a couple of days. I did find that the shower was generally available though which is great. The kids made good use of the games room and the playground. The campsite was full for the time we were there but it didn't feel crowded which was nice. A little noisy at night, mainly adults chatting on their way home from their night out which was inconsiderate and annoying but other than that, a very peaceful stay. Overall, I would recommend this campsite for a family stay with plenty to do nearby.
I stayed 8 nights with my two teenage boys and we loved it. The campsite is very close to the fabulous Guillimine cove which is great for swimming and diving. The campsite is very well run. It’s spotlessly clean, big thank you to the cleaners. The owner John is onsite constantly and works hard to keep the site beautiful. The facilities including kettles, microwave, hobs, freezers and even a bath for kids were great. We will be back!
We stayed 2 nights with our teenagers and dog. Lovely chilled campsite with very clean facilities showers etc.. we loved the nearby Guillamene and Newtown Cove (5 min walk away) for fabulous sea swimming. We'll be back!
We joined 2 other families to spend 2 nights here. A lovely family-focused campground! Very very clean facilities. Helpful friendly staff. Tent sites are a good size. It's great that there is a curfew at 11pm for those with young ones. A short stroll to the water.
We stayed at Newtown Cove Caravan Park for 4 days in June 2019. The site is well maintained, has good facilities and provides a excellent base from which to explore Co Waterford and the surrounding region. The site is quiet and was very peaceful during our stay. We enjoyed pleasant walks around the coast from the site itself but were a little surprised at the distance into Tramore town.
I've stayed in this site at least 5 times and have never had a problem. From previous experience the site has never been available to book in advance otherwise I would have booked well in advance. Unfortunately today when I rang with a courtesy call to advise of arrival within 2 hours I was told space available for 2 but not 3 nights as required and I needed to pay over the phone right away, would not even keep me a space for 2 hours! Advised that if my tent did not fit in this space available I would not get a refund. I've always dealt with a gentleman at this site, has fitted us in even when site busy. Today I spoke to a lady that was in no way helpful or accomodating. Rang another site in tramore and told just arrive no problem.. Our holiday could have been ruined today,…
