We had a 2 week stay recently and loved every minute. The campsite is perfectly situated. Close to all amenities yet far enough away to be so peaceful. A beautiful stroll to the cove for a walk and swim. The owners keep the site really well maintained. Hygiene standards were great as was security on the site. We had an injury with one of the kids and John and Sarah were so helpful and kind. The kids had a ball and the park is small enough that they were never far away. We are already planning our return trip.
My friend had gone to view a mobile home they were going to stay in with her family. The kids then needed to use the toilet so used the facilities and were screamed at by the staff. They were also called names the youngest being 4. Needless to say they won’t be staying there now or any of us. Unnecessary behaviour from staff.
Just home from a 2 night weekend stay. First impressions very good when we drove in. The whole campsite well kept. Owners have a lot of pride in it. Made feel very welcome on arrival and John called to our pitch the morning we were leaving to check how was our stay. Lovely and quite at night so no issues getting kids to sleep. Will definately be booking again. This has become our no.1 go to spot for a few nights away.
Extremely well maintained and perfectly sized site for first time Motorhomers, in the early stages of our Great Irish Road Trip, during Covid. Owner very welcoming & provided us with lots of useful local information. No hesitation, whatsoever, in providing a fulsome endorsement for this site.
We stayed recently for two nights ,from we entry the gate way in .john the owner was straight over to us ,we hadn't to get out of the motorhome .he talked us through everything including the covid 19 rules. The pitch was great .the toilets and wash facilities were spotless clean. It is a short walk to the shops and pubs . Beautiful 5 minute walk down to the cove were it is highly recommended for siwming and diving of the platform. I would highly recommend this site for a stay . Very quiet at night time . John the owner desverses credit for the way he has this site looking .
Stayed recently for 4 nights in our caravan. Campsite is in an excellent location, close to Tramore town and a short walk to the cliff path. Very well run campsite, spotlessly clean and well maintained and staff very friendly and helpful. Our first night was during storm Ellen and the manager couldn’t have been more helpful and safety conscious for all visitors. He was very hands on and available at all times of day and night to make visitors stays as enjoyable as possible. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning again in the future,
Well run and maintained campsite on the outskirts of tramore. Perfectly located to explore the surrounding areas. Have implemented covid regulations very well, with facilities regularly cleaned and social distancing well marked out. Well done. No noise after 10pm which is good to see enforced. Only one small thing that would make this place perfect would be if each pitch had their own drain and water tap, but overall this is a very well run site and we will gladly come back. Go raibh maith agat.
One of the best campsites we've visited in Ireland. We have been camping for about the last 6 / 7 years. Very well maintained, spotlessly clean. Full adherence to all Covid-19 Safety Protocols. We will book again.
Just back from 2 night stay with family, facilities were spotless and campsite is kept very well. Short drive to the town of Tramore and the beach. Newtown Cove is definitely worth a visit and a swim.
On our way home from a lovely visit to Tramore. We camped for 2 nights in our tent at this campsite. Good facilities, clean and very well attended, particularly the campers kitchen. Didn't like having to pay for showers. That would be quite an expense for a family if staying more than a couple of days. I did find that the shower was generally available though which is great. The kids made good use of the games room and the playground. The campsite was full for the time we were there but it didn't feel crowded which was nice. A little noisy at night, mainly adults chatting on their way home from their night out which was inconsiderate and annoying but other than that, a very peaceful stay. Overall, I would recommend this campsite for a family stay with plenty to do nearby.
