We were delighted with our stay. Got a break from the kids in a really relaxing environment that is very olde world with very good attention to detail. We had the tasting menu which was outstanding and the breakfast was to the highest standard. The staff were so friendly too! I would highly recommend!

We had an overnight stay in the townhouse in very comfortable accommodation, as it was January dinner was served in the bar, we took the recommendation of the staff as to our choice from the menu. Starters of garlic prawns and smoked salmon, then a seafood platter for 2. The food was excellent and beautifully presented.

Thanks so much for taking us in on a dark December night! What a relief to find a welcoming fire blazing and a delicious seafood dinner, and then a warm and comfortable bed before a great Full Irish to get the next day off to a flyer. The best place to stay east of Cork city and a great stop...

I recently had the 9 course tasting menu with drinks pairings as a birthday treat. Everything was lovely and the drinks pairings with each course were spot on! Our host was so friendly and we felt so relaxed. I would definitely recommend a trip to Ahern's if you are in Youghal.

Stayed for 2 nights. Fantastic food - tasting menu was well thought out, well portioned and with a great selection of wine. Combined with great hospitality made for memorable mid week break. Will definitely be back again.

Another relaxing, enjoyable stay in this gem. Run by lovely people, friendly yet professional. Delicious bar food and then a relaxing few hours at the open fire in the residents sitting room followed by a great nights sleep in a lovely comfortable bed. Breakfast the following morning was as delicious as always. Just a one night stay this time but...

A delightful, family run, small town hotel with homely firesides, a relaxing warm welcome and fabulous food, including the amazing 8 course tasting menu and large clean bedrooms. A most relaxing and enjoyable 3 nights in Aherne's. Highly recommend.

Youghal is a quiet, quaint seaside town. My wife and I stayed for a 2 night break in early November at Ahernes. It is a little gem that typifies irish hospitality at it's best. Our room was lovely but there are two things that make it a stay worth remembering. The restaurant was outstanding. the seafood some of the best...
