This was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was super nice. Very polite and made sure we were settled in. She gave recommendations for food and local attractions. There is a pub pretty much at the end of the driveway. Highly recommend staying here.

Warm and welcoming place, great views, great brekky and a perfect spot to base to explore the area. Incredibly comfortable beds too. Easy parking is always good. Thanks for the warm welcome, looking forward to coming back.
I spent a lovely and relaxing week at Summerfield B&B. I enjoyed the very comfortable bed; the well-appointed bathroom; the a la carte and cooked breakfast; the free and secure parking; and the warm welcome and local advice from the owners. Summerfield is perfect for solo travelers and couples.
The best b&b we‘ve had in Ireland so far. Thanks Barbara for everything, you and your family were so lovely! And the breakfast was so good as well, we‘ll definitely come back again! Also the view is great, there new bathrooms and very comfortable beds, we absolutely felt like home.
My wife and I spent a night at Summerfield Lodge during our honeymoon. Our room had a beautiful view overlooking the bay. We visited the town and had a lovely dinner at a local restaurant and spent the rest of the evening at the local bar which is right down the street from the lodge. Our hostess was extremely accommodating and my wife loved their dog, a super friendly chocolate lab named Lottie. We will definitely be back!
We spent only one night at Summerfield but would have been happy to stay there for some time. The rooms are very clean and inviting and very well-appointed. Barbara has thought of everything. The shower was fabulous in the twin room. Barbara was great and it turns out we could be related to her husband's family -we shared the same last name. Highly recommend.
Summerfield Lodge, is in the lovely town of Youghal, Ireland (pronounced Youall as saying goodbye I think according to everyone we asked who laughed at our attempts at saying Youghal). Summerfield Lodge is a lovely chalet style house set on a hillside with commanding coastal views, in a very quiet area of Youghal, about 5 minutes at of the town itself and approx 45 mins from Cork. Summerfield Lodge has three guest ensuite bedrooms, all with lovely views. Each room is very well furnished, with a large comfortable double bed, a dressing table and ensuite bathrooms with showers, complete with the little extras, like shampoo and shower gel. There is small cosy breakfast room off the owners accommodation, which is no issue as you are made to feel very welcome from the moment you step through the door, nothing is too much trouble, almost part of their family. There is the normal choice for breakfast, from cereals to fresh fruit, and full cooked breakfast, Irish or English, all cooked to order. The hosts give those little areas touches that make your stay special. We attended a wedding in Bally Cotton and was a bit late back, no problem, when we went down to breakfast the hosts had it ready for when we were, not at our usual time, they expected us to sleep in a bit. We loved our time in Ireland, even though it was only a few days and wished we could have stayed longer. Would be go again, definitely yes, and stay if we can at Summerfield. Its an idea base to tour the area and there is so much to see. Thanks for a great break.…
