We have just come home after a week in carleton village... And what a week! When we first arrived We were greeted at reception by the lovely katrina and shown to our holiday house, but not before the kids were given DVDs and lollipops... I was so surprised immediately by how bright and fresh and clean the house was, everywhere...

Heated swimming pool was a big hit. The life guards play with the kids and knew all their names. Houses were well worn and a few running repairs would not be amiss. DVDs are supplied free for the one rainy day we had. Staff are top notch and Tuesday BBQ was very good.

The ladies who run this operation are possibly the nicest, most accommodating people you will ever meet. Youghal is an amazing town, full of history and delights. The houses have everything needed for a family holiday. My kids loved the wall garden, but we could not understand the opening hours- 12pm- 6pm- exactly the times families are out and about...

We were in 3 bed, it isn't the biggest but more then sufficient for a holiday home. Kitchen is clean and well equipped with a decent hob and oven. Freesat and saorview, DVD player and DVD to borrow at reception. Loads of hot water, only has showers which are gravity feed. Playground and tennis courts are well maintained. Walled Garden...

We stayed in a 3 bed villa - 2 up (double and twin) 1 down (twin) the bedrooms are very clean and spacious with comfortable beds and pillows. The very large double has an ensuite ( with shower unit) and balcony. There is also...

We recently stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment in Carlton Village and were really impressed! Before our visit Niamh was brilliant arranging for early check in which was great after our overnight ferry crossing. On arrival we had everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable which is always a concern in holiday accommodation. Everything was provided including an...

Carlton village was excellent- could no fault it. We stayed here the last week of June 2015. The houses were presented to a very high standard with everything you could need. Staff were excellent, very warm and friendly. The family barbecue night was excellent- great food and great value. Walled garden was fabulous for kids. If there was one thing...

I'd visited Cork and the surrounding area about 15 years ago, so knew it was a beautiful place with things to do. My wife did a bit of research on places to stay in Youghal and landed upon Carleton village. We have a 5 year old daughter, so was looking for a nice, reasonably quiet holiday by the beach. Carleton...
