A large tastefully decorated and restful room ideally located in the centre of Youghal. Especially well located for those competing in the IRONMAN event. Next to registration on the run route and easy walking distance from transition and the town centre. Staying at Roseville simplified all the IRONMAN admin and the hassle of driving into and out of the town with the roads mostly closed for 4 days. Best of all though is the hosts hospitality and friendliness which is a reflection of the atmosphere in the town. David & Theresa Yfenni Cymru

The room was beautifully decorated and bathroom was fantastic. Bed was extremely comfortable with quality bed linen and we slept extremely well. The location is excellent and very close to supermarkets, café's and bars. Pauline and Richie were amazing hosts and should we return to Youghal I will be definitely giving them a call!

Roseville house is without doubt the best place to stay in Youghal!! The property is charming with a high end, stylish finish, it was spotlessly clean with a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Perfectly appointed in walking distance from everything Youghal has to offer the family run business made our trip to Ireland even more special. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. We will definately be returning here again and can't wait. Stefan and Siobhan.

Lovely place with roses and fresh flowers! Loved the bathtub. Richie is a phenomenal host. Nicely decorated. Parking right next door which was convenient. Nice to have black out shades to take a slumber. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Small quite town. Would highly recommend!

Cannot recommend Roseville House highly enough. I arrived in Youghal last Thursday after a long trip and had intended to stay just for one night. As soon as Caroline showed me into the Garden Suite I decided to stay for two! Lovely, roomy suite with a huge and very comfortable bed and pillows, fantastic en suite with power shower, lots of storage for clothes. The suite was extremely clean and very tastefully decorated with detail to ensure the highest comfort for guests. There was also a secret larder in the suite, stocked up with modern coffee machine, a huge range of teas, various cereals, jams & preserves, a fridge stocked with milk and 2 huge glass bottles of fresh water. Pretty much everything and more. If that wasn't enough, your breakfast is delivered to your room at a time that suits the guest. I was delighted to be handed a lovely hamper full of fresh pastries, toast, butter, fresh & delicious local yoghurt, a huge container of assorted fresh berries & fruits, and a huge canister of fresh orange juice...just delicious! There is a roomy table in the suite to eat this lovely breakfast, but on a sunny day you can sit outside on tables & chairs in the award winning garden. I felt completely spoilt with the luxurious suite, breakfast and general fantastic attention to every detail, whilst paying a more than reasonable price. It felt like a home, but a home with lots of luxuries and surprises. Also want to say that Caroline and Ritchie went above and beyond to make me feel welcome at Roseville and in Youghal. Caroline suggested I go see Ritchie and his fellow band mates play at the local pub, The Nook. The music was excellent, the locals really friendly and Richie introduced me to everyone. On my 2nd day, Ritchie suggested I book a walking tour of Medieval Youghal and gave me directions of where to go. As it was a cloudy day and he knew I was on foot, he was also kind enough to offer to pick me up if I got caught in the rain. Luckily I avoided the rain, but again really impressed by the kindness and thought given. The friendliness of the locals and the generous hospitality provided by Ritchie and Caroline made me feel sad to leave Roseville and Youghal. I loved the Garden Suite - ideal setting for a romantic getaway, or a well deserved treat for loved ones. I'd give it 11 out of 10 if I could, and I hope to come and stay again. Thanks Caroline & Ritchie, you are superb hosts!

Beautiful rooms, everything spotless. Saw Richie's band playing in the very friendly Bertie's round the corner. And then there was breakfast! Fresh berries, lovely granola, topped off with fresh croissants. Just perfect.

We spent two nights on the bank holiday and had a brilliant stay at Roseville House. Richie had great recommendations and the bnb was ideally situated in Youghal. The premises and Garden suite were gorgeous. The toiletries, pantry supplies and breakfast hamper (thank you Caroline) were lovely. Bonus points for the variety of Barry’s tea for this Barry’s tea lover. We wouldn’t hesitate to book the Garden suite again when we return to Youghal. Parting was such sweet sorrow with the onsite welcoming committee, Archie. Thanks for hosting us!

My husband and I just returned to the U.S. from a 10-day tour of Ireland. We had the good fortune of spending the first two days of our trip at the lovely Roseville House in Youghal. We arrived tired and hungry after a very long flight followed by two buses. We were greeted by Richie who was extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful. We found a wonderful cupboard stocked with cookies, crackers, cereal, coffee, and a mini-fridge with cold water, fresh milk, and cheese. An excellent coffeemaker, toaster, glasses, utensils and dishes were also provided – we had everything we could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. We found our room was immaculately clean, inviting, and beautifully decorated. Artwork by local artists was displayed on the walls. Coffee mugs were from a local pottery shop. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bedside lamps had built-in USB ports for conveniently charging cell phones. The bathroom was spacious with nice toiletries and towels, and a large clawfoot tub as well as a separate modern shower stall. The bathroom window had a window box with beautiful flowers in bloom. There was great attention to detail and we enjoyed our stay so much. The breakfast delivered to our room in the morning was an absolute treat. Richie delivered warm croissants, fresh assorted berries and grapes, yogurt, toast and orange juice – a delicious, generous breakfast to start the day. The location was perfect – within walking distance to restaurants, bars, historical sites, shops, two grocery stores, and the beach. But the location was also peaceful – we did not experience any issues with noise during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. We also thought the price was extremely reasonable. If you are visiting the Youghal area, you would be hard-pressed to find nicer accommodations. We would love to return someday, and we highly recommend the Roseville House to anyone visiting the area!

We stayed in the Garden Suite: extremely comfortable large room with luxury bathroom, well appointed with nice details and original artwork. Larder cupboard/mini kitchenette provided everything we needed for breakfast and snacks, plus a fresh basket of breakfast goodies delivered in the morning. Helpful and flexible welcome by the host Richie. Wish we were staying for more than one night.
