Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed at this superb Bed and Breakfast whilst attending a music festival in the Slieve Russell Hotel. This Bed and Breakfast is nearly on the same site as the Hotel, it is that close. Joy the hostess was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The Rooms were excellent and the Breakfast was superb. Thanks Joy for a lovely stay and Myself and my Wife will definitely be back if staying in the area.

I stayed with Joy for 1 night as I was attending a wedding in the nearby hotel. It was first class, the beds were clean and comfortable, the room was spacious, en suite bathroom etc, lovely view! but really the breakfast was the best. Absolutely delicious!!!! 10/10 hot and hearty! I can recommend An Crannog without issue. Thank you Joy.

We stayed overnight here after a family wedding at the next door Slieve Russell hotel. From the moment we arrived at the B&B Joy made us feel more than welcome, our room was very clean, and the bed was comfy (especially great when you've a sore back). The next morning there was a full range of fruit juice, yogurts and cereals on offer; after which, Joy and another very friendly lady Marina made us a lovely cooked full Irish breakfast, which was just delicious. It is so nice to get a cooked breakfast made to order instead of the buffets you usually get in hotels. I would highly recommend this lovely B&B.

The lady who runs this b&b makes it. The level of service is excellent and she couldn't do enough for you. Stayed over the weekend for a wedding. Room was spotless with a lovely comfy bed. The breakfast was great before a long drive home. So tasty as it was cooked fresh when we got up. Would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone or staying again myself if I am in this part of the country again.

We recently stayed as a family at an crannóg as we were attending a wedding at the slieve russell. We were welcomed by the lovely hostess Joy who made us feel so welcome . The rooms were lovely and had very comfortable beds , ideal to rest tired heads and dancing feet. The breakfast the next day was fantastic!! And Joy and Marianne made sure that we were well fed and even if our stomachs couldn't handle it at the time they would keep something for us. The Crannóg is a true Gem and lives up to the Irish hospitality that people around the world know Ireland for .Thanks a million for our lovely stay from the Ferguson Family Donegal

We stayed in the B&B while attending a wedding in the Slieve Russell Hotel. The B&B is less than a 2 minute walk to the hotel which was fantastic. Our room was clean and well maintained. It came with an ensuite bathroom. We had a comfortable nights sleep in the bed. The breakfast was a lovely traditional Irish fry. There was also the the usual breakfast cereals, yogurts, tea and toast. The owner Joy was pleasant and friendly. Overall we were happy with our brief stay at An Crannog.
