Really fantastic, really friendly team. Great quirky accommodation. Clean and tidy throughout. Miles away from any loud main roads. We had a great evening sitting out by a communal fire pit chatting quietly. And fantastic view of the clear sky and stars. Great place. I would definitely stay again. Top marks

We (my husband and 5yr old twins) visited wildflower Glamping for 2 nights and stayed in the daisy yurt.
The yurt is just fab. I just loved the way it was decorated. It has a double bed and day bed which opens in to a double, a little table and two chairs, a wood fire stove, a little sink. It also has a kettle and toaster. Outside there is two gas camping rings at the cooking station which is covered over and beside that a picnic bench and a campfire area for the yurt. Stephanie has everything you would need to prepare food in each unit so no need to bring anything. Chopping boards, knives, vegetable peeler, cutlery, utensils, Delph, saucepans, frying pan, large bowls, teapot and large jug.
The shower and toilets are just a minute walk from the yurt and the tea room can be used if the weather is not favourable. The toilet and shower rooms are immaculate and really tastefully decorated.
The tea room has a fridge/freezer for the yurt and hobbit house.
Wood for the fire and stove is available to buy on site.
Our kids loved it so much they didn't want to leave the glamping site.
I couldn't recommend Wildflower Glamping enough. We had such a wonderful time here. We will definitely be back.
We tried to visit marble arch caves, Florence Court and Coole Castle but all required booking in advance due to covid restrictions so we will have to come again 😊. We visited killykeen forest Park and Erica's fairy forest in cootehill as well as driving around the lakes.

We stayed for 2 nights in the 'Hobbit Hut' . Our group was made up of 3 adults and 2 kids ( 4 and 2 ) . We got lucky and had the entire site to ourselves .The kids had a brilliant time with the whole layout and fun little maze with activities in each nook and cranny.
There are two communal fire pits with lots of chairs. There is also a large decked area with a cover in case of rain ( which is did one night ) so we all played games in the covered deck area.
Each accommodation has it own picnic bench and there is also a communal eating area with 3 tables located indoors. The decor in the communal eating area is very cute and full of fairy lights.
There are also designated fridges provided in the communal kitchen. Each accommodation has it name on the fridge, I found this very helpful.
Each accommodation has its own shed fill with kettle/ toaster/ single gas cooker/ sink with running water/ cutlery / pots and pan.
The beds and linen were all great. Very comfy. Grounds are well kept.
All in all , I'd give 5 stars. The owner Stephanie was fab for getting back to me via email with any booking questions I had.

We are a small family of three so we rented the daisy yurt for a weekend and set off to Cavan. We where greeted by Stephanie who welcomed us warmly (along with Marley the Jack Russell who loves a rub) and we were shown to our accommodation. Along the way we were shown a communal kitchen, with refrigerators allocated for each property, and a microwave. This is adjacent to the communal dinning room with lots of games and books for children. We passed the 2 spotless toilet huts and 2 amazingly modern shower huts, 2 campfire areas and of course our fellow campers in the wonderfully fun array of properties.
Our yurt was fantastic..... Tucked away in the corner of the site with an outdoor covered dining area and cooking area (2 gas canister camping stoves) this felt like a little oasis of calmness. The yurt is very homely, with lots of soft furnishings, little plaques on the wall, soft lighting and a great kitchenette with cupboard storage, running water, a kettle and toaster. The beds are super comfy with the main double being carved from real tree trunks. Linen is pristine and pressed as good as any hotel. The log burning stove helped us to stay cosy through a night of torrential rain, but this was more for ambience and a feeling of comfort than neceasity as the yurt is warm and cosy anyway.
The campsite is spotless, great areas for the children with outdoor games and a big field to run around on. At night as darkness set in Stephanie would light tealight lamps along the pathways which gave a beautiful atmosphere when walking arojnd. The campsite is well lit with electric lights at night for those toilet dashes at 3am and the 2 campfire areas allow for smaller or larger gatherings in the evening. Checkout is early at 10.30am but a later time can be negotiated in advance if needed.
The entrance to the entire site is a high electric gate which is coded. The car park is located inside this gate but just at the edge of the camps walkway entrance meaning there are no cars on the actual site. This makes the entire area safe for children to wander safely and freely as they cannot leave the site or risk any cars moving around.
We loved our weekend, we loved this well throughout and put together camp. The homely touches, the ease of use, the facilities available to each accommodation and the welcome/goodbye from the host are second to none. We cannot wait to come back and bring some more of the family for a proper reunion.

Our two days at Wildflower Glamping was a little oasis of peace, fun and family time and we absolutely loved it! It’s only a few miles outside Cavan town and it was the perfect place to unwind. We stayed in Dotty the caravan, cooked outside on the gas burner and roasted marshmallows at night on the campfire. Steph was so welcoming and showed us around her wonderful site. The views over the countryside were amazing, the shower and toilet facilities were great and everything was so clean and decorated with a cosy retro feel and we felt so at home there. We are going to book the Hobbit Hut for our next trip. We couldn’t recommend this wonderful place more highly.

Everything about this place is amazing. The tranquil setting, the layout, the accommodation, the attention to detail & 5 star facilities. The modern washroom & showering facilities are spotlessly clean. The glampsite is PERFECT for families, couples or a girls weekend away. Loved it.
Stephanie & Paul are fabulous hosts & couldn't have been more helpful. The cosy units are so well kitted out with such thoughtful design in mind. They are clearly a creative family and you can see their unique design & inventions throughout the site.
We spent the evening gathered around the chiminea, sipping wine under the stars, zoned out from life & having some proper belly laughs at the stories. When do you ever get the chance to do that?
I woke up this morning with a view of the sun rising over the rolling hills from my bedroom window, what a view! We also got to pet the lovely wee sheeps too!!
This place is a real gem. It's fabulous value for money, can't wait to return.

Absolutely stunning little glamp-site meticulously cared for by the owners who obviously take great pride in their site and in offering first class accommodation to their customers! the Unit was spotless and brilliantly equipped. Steph looked after us so well the only thing wrong with our stay was that it wasn't long enough!

Me and my boyfriend stayed in the shepards hut on the August Bank Holiday. I didnt want to leave. Was so nice waking up to cows in a field in front of you. We did various activities down the road from the glampsite like paddleboarding and kayaking in Cavan adventure centre and KillyKeen forest which also has amazing bike trails. The facilities in the glampsite were excellent the only thing we forgot to bring was a small BBQ & fly spray. The showers were nice and hot. There are 3 pet sheep in the site which you can pet which was lovely. Overall we would highly recommend for couples and familys for a weekend away that is memorable.

Gorgeous place. Four of us spent a weekend in the Hobbit hut and we loved it. The hut was warm and cosy, so cute and quirky, the beds very comfortable. Our kitchen and outdoor dining area included every item and utensil we could need. Great to have access to the communal fridges and microwave. The toilet and shower facilities were lovely and very clean. A really beautiful site. We were lucky to have fine balmy weather for our weekend so we enjoyed living outside. The site has a lovely indoor communal seating area which we didn't use but would be great in case of rain. All in all a fabulous weekend away, we'd love to visit again.
The only small issue was that one group occupying two units on the site socialised outside until 12:30am or after on both nights during our stay. Our other neighbours told us that they were disturbed as well. The glampsite rules advise that quiet hours are after 11pm. I mentioned this to Stephanie on our departure. She said that she usually does the rounds of all units before 11pm to remind people of the quiet hours and to ask guests to text her if any issues etc, but this didn't happen during the two nights that we stayed.

If you are thinking of trying glamping, this is the place to go. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, Wildflower Glamping offers unique, comfortale accommodation. Due to the pandemic, some of the facilities are now restricted - there is no children's playground any more - but Stepanie and her team have added some games and gone above and beyond to ensure safety and hygiene while not skimping on the fun. There are lots of interesting places to visit nearby and kids will love cooking outdoors or toasting marshmallows in the open air.
